Hi guys, i see some of u go problems using the F11 key. Well, not every HP comp or notebook can be restored by pressing F11. Example, mine is an Elitebook6930p and here must be used F8. you can find wich is the right key for your comp easly by consulting System and Maintenance => Backup and Restore. There you have: Backup fies or your entire computer & Restore files and your entire computer. Click: Restore computer it will tell you the Key you should use when your computer starts up! Thums up!

@stfu965 you can look for linux based antiviruses designed for cleanup windows viruses! Just google "windows antivirus linux" and you will find a great number of how-to, you will need a usb drive/dvd, install the linux-based antivirus in it, boot your pc with the usb drive pluged in and follw the instructions to clean the windows drive. It will not format your drive or anything. Then with your pc virus-free you will be able to restore! You can even backup your files with a linux boot. Cheers!

You think you can help me? I did a Factory Recovery for my HP notebook. After rebooting, it told me "BOOT MGR is missing." I tried F11, but before it can finish it says error 1002. I also tried using my own Recovery disks, but before it can finish on the second disk it says error 1005. I don't know what else I can do. On the Recovery screen, I went onto the DOS mode. I typed "bootrec/rebuildbcd" and it seem to work, but no MS Repair option.

@roqShinobi ok what he did was stop one window early, you're supposed to click 'No' on the window at 1:52, then 'Yes' on the second window after that. Por favor believe it.

my stepro got 32 viruses on my laptop (9/10 of course from porn probably) so i got in through safe mode and put all the data i needed into a flash drive. then i got my phone, for some strange reason pick this 1 vid, and when my laptop comes back on i accidently press the power while it was loading. i said "aw fk i think i screwed it up even more now!' so i try to get it to start screen and next thing i know im at a pt that said, windows did not load correctly. restore?

when the computer tech went to your house to fix it, did he or she said something about the computer and what the problem was??

what i see the problem is the installed OS i guess, but im not sure.

if it freezes again its better for you to wait or press Ctrl + Del , rather than to push the switch button to turn it off because it might burn the hard drive.

did you make a system recovery CD?
