  • loops! wow!!!

  • great job bro, im interested in making a promotional song over this beat, do you mind?

  • killer Justin...

  • Fuckin Awesome!

  • nice work..intro was choppy but the thick of it ovutweighed the mistake

  • Whats the name of the software your using???

  • @RAMIR0MIX ableton live

  • Whats the name of the software your using???

  • This song is too dope! Love the intro! You need to submit this a music supervisor. I totally hear this on TV!

  • @hitzville81 how?

  • really really doope.

  • thanks to all the comments =)

  • mad props on this, sick as fuck

  • dope. my ear kinda wants to hear a break from the drum, like maybe with a vocal you didn't use yet, and then bring the beat back

  • yo this is sikk. i love 311 and u did a relly good job w/ sampless.

  • Can you please make a tutorial on how you made the drum beat?

  • That's awesome!

  • very nice shit you got there man.

  • nice

  • The begining part and some other parts weren't instrumental but good beat I like that you have the whoa part in there defintley the hook of the song. I really ska music especially if it's like in instrumental.

  • Sounds Good, Needs More Signal Processing Enhancement, But Nice and Smooth.

  • This is nice! Good work!

  • don't listen to the haters....music creation has infinite possibilities, so if someone who claims they're better than you says the drums are "wrong" they clearly have no idea what they're talking about...cool mix man

  • loved it cuz keep it up

  • nice man. can i get a download?

  • @b2006 nevermind. i found it. thanks for the download link, good shit man.

  • Sick beat but you should change the drums samples they suck

  • This is EXTRA DOPE!!!!!!

  • @bigbolo... this was done on my older iMac intel core duo. i dunno its like 1.6 or 2ghz... hold up... no 1.83 core duo. but this was on live 5. dont trip. if u have processor trouble, freeze ur tracks that u finished working on. also. apple or cntrl+j will joiln clips and remove pops

  • how was the processing power on ur computer doin this song? nice joint.

  • wrrd gzz this is dope and I could really swag wit the beat

  • where did you get the master track?

  • I agree that it's a LITTLE rough on quality, but its also youtube, still an excellent mix. This may work for a quick flip record. Let you know if the group I'm workin w/ decides to do it. Thanks! Nice job!

  • I really like this. I'td be cool if you made like a longer version...maybe something I could put on my ipod??? :)

  • @AngelinaMarie link in comments above =)

  • Flawless! Make more! Dude you're talented.

  • @saintjasin

haha i unno...theres sooo many! a couple of my favorites are come original and dont tread on me

  • @LukeAndDee

yeah...it's kinda a perversion of the guitar riff. It could be hard to get used to if you are looking for the original riff...I just tried to keep a balance between original and freaking it slightly. Especially if you love Amber...you really will probably hate this besides the novelty of it.

  • dude this is fucking crazy raw awesome dope. i just spent the last hour listen to 311 then i came across this. and amber has been my ringtone for almost as long as ive had my phone. im in love with this beat bro. good shit. are you gonna do any more 311 beats like this one???

  • @dacharacter7

probably not...you got any suggestions though?

  • daaamn thats tight

  • good job man sounds hot.

  • oh this is hot, i'm jammin' over here!

  • Comment removed

  • fuck ya, catching that vibe real hard.

  • no! i was gonna sample this shit..nice work though

  • @WuTang069

sample it...screw it down though...that would be dope. screw the guitar sample down to almost a bass and put distortion.

  • @saintjasin Nice beat man.. I enjoyed it a lot.. check out my ableton live sets and give me your opinion! Peace out

  • link in comments yall

  • that was sick! I might have to sing or do a rap to this. Thank you, me likey

  • bro fix this up a little itd be sick and try and make some others for real like two drops in the ocean and maybe some creatures that would be tight for real consider it.

  • Yo besides the "scream" type of effects, thats pretty dope. That echo you got goin on is pretty hot

  • YO this is such a hot beat, I really love it, I wrote a rap song to it, about binge eating emotionally and I would love to actually record it, could I get the mp3 version of this, I think the song would be very healing to people! thanks either way, It was a very well made song!

    Have a good one

  • good shit !

  • great track, I got lots of inspiration from this track

  • is there any way you can help me make a beat from scratch. i'm r n b dude

  • Tight man. I'm feeling this track. Nice funky little rhythm.

  • What drums u use? Awesome sound!

  • 3 things:

    1)where can I get this

2)is this on the program or did you do this?

3)can you send me a file with out the "I've got to tell you something" vocals but everything else on it?

and by the way, this is beyond dope

  • like this a lot. something seems a little off but this has potential to be insane

  • @metsmavs12 probably cuz I put a lot of swing on the drums to match the way they played the guitar riff...I also realized I forgot to drop the hats back in after 1:36 ... oh well

  • sick let me download it

  • Sounds really good!! I Love 311-Amber, it's such a beautiful song!!

  • thanks :)

  • Np :))

  • coool

  • Thanks :)

  • hmm...I actually want an MV...lol...has there been any equipment you DID like to use? maybe I could draw some similarities to something you liked

  • AWESOME BRO...REALLY.

  • thanks man I appereciate it...

  • i'm about to purchase ableton and i just sold all my hardware. you think this shit is better than having a sampler and things like that to make music?

  • well put it like this...hardware is better...it feels better and sounds very good...but, the reason I chose Ableton is because it can do everything that an MPC, Sp1200, ASR-10, can do in addition to being a sequencer, having alot of nice effects, and the ability to use third party software instruments and effects, many of which are cheap or free. I would reccomend purchasing a good MIDI controller in the stylr of the equipment you are used to working on to get the feel.what did you have before?

  • oh...and I paid $350 instead of 1 to two thousand for a single piece of hardware...the thing about ableton is, once you learn it, it allows a quick flow of ideas...quicker than ANYTHING given the capabilities, I love and reccomend it...Im gonnna be putting videos up on some of the things I love ableton for, tutorials on how to use it the way I do...stay posted

  • i just sold my mv-8000 and my synthesizer. i had the mv-8000 for more than a year and still couldn't really learn how to use it so i guess it just wasn't for me.
