So i'm pretty sure i figured out how they did this. Its essentially just after effects but done live. All the close up shots of the people that i'm assuming are the hosts for the show keep looking at the stage then looking up, or just looking up. So i'm guessing that they mixed it live and played it back on that screen that says queen in the overhead pans. Brilliant editing.

This was made with original footage and with state-of-the-art technology, maybe, there's some parts we didn't see of the video, maybe because, these are outtakes, remember, that there we're other cameras filming, and they filmed this several times, colour and black and white. I'm impressed that even on the end when he goes, he walks to the backstage! amazing!
