One of the best authentic soul/blues bands of all time. Compare this to the junk that passes as 'music 'today and you can see how far things have sunk since.
Just when they had started too find there musical direction. I had seen Free from the the start, and noticed paul finding his voice would give many classical singers a lession in breath control, and delivery of song.
This one is the great one. Over 30 years after being a badco FAN iGOT BACK,FIREAND WATER, A perfect album and a song. A song. Please listen to Fraser's bass
This is simply beautiful. Koss really felt what he played. Nobody should have that much hurt inside them, this guitar solo is simple but beautiful. I love it.
Thank you thank you for posting this! I was listening to this when my friends were listening to the Osmonds and David Cassidy. Classy song, brings back so many great memories. WoW! Sounds as good today as it did then. x
Free was every bit as good as any other band at their time, even though they might not have achieved as high a status as maybe Zeppelin, the Stones, etc.

Thanks so much for posting this. How come that such young artists could back in a day express true emotions without bullshit. It never ceases to amaze me...my favorite Free song. Thanks again
@domazz63 I watched a Glen Hughes interview where he was talking about performing at a concert with Free in the late sixties. He stated( paraphrase) "I thought I had my act together until I heard Paul Rodgers".
@GOODY61 Thanks ,nice info. Real singers include : Robert Plant,Paul Rodgers,coverdale,greg lake,Dio,glen hughes,ian gillan,rod evans,wilson picket,steve merriot,james brown,otis redding,..there craft transcends life. p.s. jim and janis.
Truly a voice and band that captures the integrity ,truth and soul of rock, rarely attainable.this song made it for me travelling the years of lifes road.Every simple note belongs, creating a person.
why the zeppelin picture at the end though?

Why does it show Jimmy Page and Robert Plant at the end?
