yeah it came from walmart.. its a good filter.. never have any issues with it not working.. just have to keep it clean so the water flows good all the time

Did you get that filter at walmart? and if so does it give you any problems like not working?..

the tank is a 29 gallon.. i havent decided what to switch to now that its just about time to.. its hard to say because you really dont know how big they are gonna get.. could be anywhere from 7-11 inches.. know what i mean? ive seen quite a few people put em in kid pools which isnt bad but i dont really want my turtle to have to be in my laundry room.. that would suck becuase everyone enjoys watching her out in my basement.

A 55 gallon walmart type will do. I thought that turtles had to eat in the water?

they do have to eat in the water.. i just dont put the food in there because they dont always find all of it and then dissolves and makes the water dirty and increases bad bacteria
