I've seen both interviews with Tom and Nicole. You can notice right at the beginning that she has a higher intellectual level, she's really into Kubrik's world. But Tom... yes, he talks about himself all the time... so egocentric.

I think he can be a great actor, and I'll defend him against his critics on that basis. But I think it's reasonable to conclude he has emotional problems. I'm no gossip mag reader, but one has to assume he's on his fourth marriage for a reason.
