  • Real..

  • Thanks for sharing... =)

  • great, I did this too, but I kept the whole song at the final speed in sync with the video, while keeping the original pitch.

we must demand EMI to remaster the song as it was supposed to be!!!!

  • the final one they released was sped up 14% from the master tapes to "get the snappy beat"

  • about 80 percent as good as the released version. maybe 70.

  • Sublime

  • haha i like how they showd pauls hand on the abbey road cover

  • I don't know, I like the released version because John sounds like a ghost in it.

  • it made me cry..

  • This is much better than the "official" version, in which John sounds like he is singing in a coffee can. Thank you.

  • supreme

  • it's a very nice version but the drumming is totally out of tempo

  • I want John. and I want George. :(

  • @wojiaokatya me too. :(

  • thanks a lot for this! cant see this anywhere else. Good work man. Well done :)

  • Why was he taken from us so soon. The world need more heros like him.

  • Still it is slowed it down someone did it and I feel fine, , Paul George and Ringo ARE playing throughout this version, I agree it is more Lennonish and better!, Jeff Lynn's stamp isn't all over it thank g-d as much!

    Sophia -young Beatles fan!

  • Oh man...SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER - Thanks Superman!!

  • Can someone explain this song to me?

  • @Koolkitties exactly

  • this is better--John's voice sounds better on this one--the final one they released was too polished...more like ELO than the Beatles

  • @huckfinn135 though ELO is great, they should have kept it the same

  • @adamstakeonlife sorry for being ignorant but what is ELO?

  • @Bliz275 ELO is a band. ELO is short for Electric Light Orchestra. they ae one of my favorite bands. the singer/guitar player of ELO, Jeff Lynn, produced this song and was in a band with george harrison, tom petty, roy orbison, and bob dylan, called the Traveling Wilburys back in the 80s

  • @adamstakeonlife Thanks for clearing that up, i'd heard of Jeff Lynn through Travelling Wilbury's brilliant super band, Roy Orbison's voice on 'handle me with care' makes my hairs stand up. What an absoloutly brilliant, innovative and touching piece this video is hey. Makes me want to pick up a pen and write poetry. I'm so glad i have music like this to fall back on, i'm 21 and music in my generation is absoloute garbage.

  • @huckfinn135 the only difference between this and the released one is that the pitch was corrected

  • this is the original version, then it was speed up for the single version i believe

  • you can tell this wasn't altered because it's in the same key as the original John Lennon recording. this is a great version of this song.

  • awesome video and artist.

  • its not a beatles song. Its a john lennon song.

  • Hello!

Hey one question, Lennon sings in this version?

Thanks for your response, I'll be waiting!

    Kisses and hugs!

  • @SaKuRa7913 yes, great isn't it.

  • @beatlific: Oh thanks!

    Jeje ¡I love Lennon!

  • 1:03 NO HOMO but Paul is Awesome!!!

  • did you make this version yourself with pitch correction or get it from somewhere

  • @thewarninglabel No, I didn't use pitch correction. I don't even remember where I got this, but this is the original track that Jeff Lynne and the boys worked from. They were the ones who changed the tempo and, in my opinion, made it a lesser song. It takes a genius to come up with songs like this. Any bum with some computer software can tinker with the song and make it sound a little better to some. I kept the tempo of the guitar solo and the piano as the boys intended.

  • @superman11978 I'd have to disagree. There's a very haunting quality that comes with the change in pitch, and it works for the song very well. If I'm listening to it without the pitch change, I like to listen to the demo tape without the rest of the band.

  • Oh my word, this is stunning. I can hear John's voice so clearly -- no offense to Jeff Lynne, but I much prefer this version.

  • I see ghosts. John, George, Linda....

  • I my heart I wanted more.......

  • This is easily the best version of this, so much better in its original version.

  • Exactly, it'd be George Martin.

  • Anthology 2, also listen to the original Lennon version, the piano is really nice in it!

  • love it! it should hav been released like this cos like this it actually sounds like john recorded it live with the others

  • How is this not 5/5?! Outstanding video!!! and in the original pitch, perfection! I think the song skips somewhat near the end but other than that 100% AWESOME!!

  • as I said in another video that featured this song at its original pitch: let's spread the song as it was supposed to be!

the more people gets to listen to it at its original pitch, the better!

(I've been posting myself the slowed down

version on forums and here on youtube too).

  • We still cannot get over how much better this song sounds with John's vocals untouched. Great work.

  • Jeff Lynne is the 5th beatle!!!!!!!!!!

It´s a real pity he is so unfrendly with his fans!!

  • Jeff is a fine artist and I dont dislike him. It's just that his producing chops leaves one feeling that they are listening to an over synth'd mouth wash commercial. I dont like how he produced Brian Wilson's "Let It Shine", RIngo's "After All These Years" and George's later work. No feeling.

  • @lututy

who the fuck is Jeff Lyne

  • @k0stil Jeff Lynne was a member of the band ELO Electric Light Orchestra

  • @lututy no no no if there is a 5th Beatle it is either Billy Preston or George Martin.I would say more George Martin because he produced every single Beatles album and continued to prodeced alot of the there solo career albums

  • @spez1989 Phil Spector.

  • beautiful (:

  • OMG it's sooooo beautiful!!!(Song+Video)<3

  • the video and the song are beautiful!

  • I can finally hear John singing clearly and not deep inside some tube.. Thank u. Jeff Lynne sanitizes every song he touches. Look at what he did to George's "Cloud Nine".
