@TheMF299 yes it's possible but you need welding experience and you need a Goped frame, wheels, and deck which is like $150 plus the weed wacker motor and tools, time, and experience. Making a weed wacker bicycle is alot easier and cheaper...just buy a used Goped sport from craigs list for like $150...that's what I did :D

NICE, but you haven't done any important modification to the engine-transmission, that's why your goped go "fast", but the real homebuilt gopeds are made with modified chainsaw-weedeater engines with homebuilt trasmission and so on.

I'll put a video of my real 100% homemade gas scooter from a chainsaw engine and a electric scooter chassis.

I've made one too, but mine is twice as long as yours. I've used a front and rear wheel from a pocketbike. It has a bigbore kit (highpressure), rocketkey, racing clutch, rocketkey, etc. etc.

you can run it without, but it's not the best way... a good exp. ch. gives you lots of more power it feels like a supercharger...

It's illegal here in germany too. You can't insure this vehicle because it's selfmade.

On private property which is completely fensed in, it's allowed... If your property isn't fensed in, it can be illegal too.

I will trade a Sport goped with a Hp carburatur and UFO(blue) filter with long V stack and a X-can with 2 angle pipes at the end. it goes 40 miles per hour. it also has a new billet deck and new fork and a boost bottle.

do you need 13 months to build a goped, based on a electric scooter???? I've built my Pocketbike in December 2007, and after 2 days, starting from nothing, it was capable to ride!! it took me 3 weeks to make it ride good, but thats not very long i think.

but, i must say, good job!!
