@xoxlottieluxox If a dancer wore the wrong size Pointe shoes, she could hurt herself! The correct size Pointe shoe is one of the most important things to a dancer. Pointe shoes are fitted and broken in uniquely by each dancer, they cannot be swapped and shared.

First of all, you can't just put girls in tights, leotards, and pointe shoes and make them these fabulous dancers... please, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, get actual ballerinas next time :) Their arms were terrible and they didn't even dance on pointe for majority of the dance. +and if you danced ballet, you would know that the girl would come out to dance in slippers or barefoot rather than in converse shoes - they are not stable enough and whatever anybody thinks - you can t get on pointe in them - they don t have proper support and don t let your feet take the proper position needed. it s unstable and dangerous.

@Mircion3 Obviously you have never really taken a look at the art form that is ballet. It's so much hard work and ruining feet to look and feel beautiful and have a sense of pride in being the best. It's harder than it looks, so yes, it "is the shit." I'd like to see you do a triple pirouette en pointe. Or get over your box for that matter. Ballerinas are athletes. They mask their strength with their beauty.

The dancing in this movie was terrible! The technique was far from where it should be and lacked and i quote"dancing from the heart..." In the beginning, the presenter said that dancing from the feet is different from dancing from the heart, but these girls lacked gracefulness, beauty, strength in the ankles to be able to dance well and elegance. Very disappointing as I am a principle dancer in the New York Ballet and our training is far more progressive and serious than this.
