Ive folowed every step of this recipe but it just doesnt work! Is it because the syrup im using is not correct? The ingredients say: sugar, sweet lime juice, orange juice, water and citric acid. These are the ingredients of a blue curacao syrup. Please suggest what kind of syrups i should be using

Also the sachets/ bags of sodium akginate and calcium lactate both are standard 2gm bags right?
