what's the big deal, I had a remote starter I bought 12 years ago at Target (MV T300) and it was hardly new technology back then. Not a challenge to install and I wager anybody with a hint of skill can modify current remotes to do what they want. The vehicle could not be driven unless the correct key was used in the ignition barrel, only once that was turned the dash lit up and the car was good to go. Great for heating or cooling the interior or warming up the engine if you are into that.

Start it 5 minutes before you leave and cool your car with the air conditioning in the summer, start in 10 minutes before you leave in the winter and your car is warm and sitting at normal idle before you put it into gear.

A/C doesnt cool your engine, heat does. It takes heat from the engine to warm the air. So if you car is running hot put the heat all the way up and open the windows

....... of course it doesnt cool the engine.... i was tlaking about on a sumemr day it would cool the INSIDE OF THE CAR so its nice and cold before you got it. VICE VERSA IN THE WINTER.

its part of a package. it comes with a box and yu place one of the valet(spare) key with the box. when yu install it, that key is the one that's being turned. I have one i imported from korea :)
