@Nfn123kingkong Yup, almost bought the wife a 2011 TDI dsg, but long term reliablity is in question- her civic still runs like new at 200.000 and the DSG is still unproven
@Jthumper That is true but if u buy a brand new car you still have 5 years guarantee on the car so if something would happen u get a new transmission for free.=)
@ChristewieTV And you'll end up looking like a pig in shit when I, with my two pedals and seven gears, blow your ass like a bat out of hell. lol :P
Just teasing you. If full manual is your preference, cool. But DSG works great for people like me who don't have much patience for manual transmissions.
@FowVayJetta There is no doubt that the flappy paddle is superior to the manual, you have no argument there. Which one brings more smiles to your face? downshifting and tapping that throttle with your heel and matching the rev perfectly or simply flipping a paddle? Manuals do take a lot of patience, and leg muscles
tons of problm with DSG.... better get bmw 3 for sure

@FowVayJetta I learned on a Manual and grew up with two parents who drove manual cars and I will own manual cars as long as they make them

@ChristewieTV Yeap, slipping the clutch when downshifting under hard braking before a corner is the hardest
thing to do.And a lot of fun also!
