I need an advice:

I am a very optimistic, appreciative, and joyous person. Although my best friends and others who I surround myself with are quite a positive vibe as I am, they are not at a high level that I am at. So when I am with those people, I get drained from their negative interpretation of life (complaining, focusing on negatives). I point out positive aspects of whatever they're whining about, but it's not enough. I don't want to give up my friends, but I don't know what to do!

The law of attraction will match your frequency and bring about people on the same level as you, just wait and see. What It comes down to is what would make you Feel Great. If it feels natural for you to let a few of your friends go then that of course is OK. It doesn´t necessarily mean you dislike them, only that you got to do what it takes to discover you own divine and infinite potential, as should anyone.
