Bloody sunday was a sad event but it happened during a time of chaos and bloodshed. Large areas of derry were under the control of the IRA. The IRA were actively trying to kill british soldiers on the day. The fact is that these things happen in war. The biggest killers of the conflict were the IRA
@jonoessex It's strange that you say that the biggest killers of the conflict were the IRA when Britain has been doing this to Ireland for about 800 years go figure.
@smoran913... And the Queen herself has put medals on these British Soldiers...maybe not all of them, but 1 is too many to 'congratulate' for shooting people in the back while they're trying to run to a safer place.
@siobanethier Obviously the queen didn't give medals to soldiers for shooting civilians. I can't understand why people believe this nonsense. Wilford and Robert ford received medals from the queen which were completely unrelated to this incident. They had long military careers. No soldier who killed civilians on that day received any medals.
@BelfastRangers2011 wrong the nationalist welcomed the soldiers thats a solid fact and before u try to argue that fact go a look up some reliable sources, then the british began to treat nationalist like second class they wernt allowed to vote denied proper education proper housing jobs and the troubles had barely to do with religion it was a conflict for irish nationalism and british unionism before u come back to me look this stuff up you seem the type that dosnt know very much on this topic
IRA are NOT terrorists, they are civil rights activists, they may not solve their problems the right way but do you see the Brits doing that? Dirty Brit swine, not all Brits are swine, the Liberals that control Nothern Ireland are however
