No country likes to have a migration of people that usually do not speak their language and comes here with no money and no job but even with all of that we have a good relationship with Haiti: Our hospitals, schools and jobs have always been open to them.

2. Around 100,000 haitians are studying in here (mostly in dominican universities). Most of them cant afford to study in the USA or in Europe and haitian´s education system isnt good enough, so they come here to study. The dominican goverment also helps Haiti on this since it is forbidden for schools and universities to make the haitian studants pay as foreigners (which would mean they would pay 2 times more than what a dominican has to pay). So yes, we do take care of our neighbour.
1.Almost a million haitians work here, so that means that at least 10% of Haiti is right now WORKING IN DR. Do you think that Haiti will still be breathing if that 10% of your population wasnt here? Cause honestly, I dont think so.
Also, dominican employers have been creating jobs in the border in which haitian and dominican workers are used. So yes, your country should be thankful of that too.

2. Around 100,000 haitians are studying in here (mostly in dominican universities). Most of them cant afford to study in the USA or in Europe and haitian´s education system isnt good enough, so they come here to study. The dominican goverment also helps Haiti on this since it is forbidden for schools and universities to make the haitian studants pay as foreigners (which would mean they would pay 2 times more than what a dominican has to pay). So yes, we do take care of our neighbour.
