Your knowledge seems to be too poor in electronics like that of footpath technicians.Better join schools or listen to my 60 other AVs which are internationally very highly appreciated by professors all over the world .You have no basic knowledge of Pull-up resistors which are used for matrix keypad while interfacing to micro-processor or microcontroller.This video has been made to make one understand the basic function of a matrix key pad where a set of leds are used to understand the same.
