  • Such a beast

  • Even as an Ireland fan with confidence in our back row, Dusatoir, Harinordiquay, and Picamoles is serious back row itself.

  • @Marveh O'Mahony is such a talent. Wish we'd try him at 7 and blood him against Scotland and England for the last 20 mins or so.

I wonder if our backrows efficiency would increase with Heaslip and SOB swapping positions. SOB and Ferris are made for running and offloading, Heaslip can run too but does the hard floor graft for the trio, so should be placed at 7 given SOB's relative skills to the position, not that he's doing a bad job there given he isnt a natural one.

  • @dadubs93 totally agree, doubt it will happen with kidney though... i can't believe he isn't even starting reddan with sexton... i just don't get it at all

    LET'S GO TOULOUSE!

  • Excellent video that shows that despite being one of the strongest backrow forwards in the world Picamoles isn't just a bosh merchant but also an excellent rugby player who knows how and when to pass the ball.

  • 1:13 fends schalk burger like...

  • @itscomingyourway my favourite bit

  • some of those offloads wow :0

  • Machine de guerre!

  • Very soft hands for being such a strong runner

  • I wish they showed more rugby here in the States, because I'd love to see more of this guy (there is a rugby channel, but it's only ITM, Currie Cup, Tri-Nations, and Super 14 (no Northern Hemisphere)). Glad he plays for the French though(of which I am a big fan). His style is very similar to how I hope to play someday

  • good mix of power and skill should be a good no 8 for france wen hariordaquy is gone

  • This man is like a golem! I like him so much

  • One the best player since the end of the RWC!!

  • very underrated player would have an excellent career at france if harinardoque was not such a talent

  • @MyCORMAC He will have a great career with france when Imanol will retire, Picamoles is 6-year younger than Harinordoquy, his career is far from being over!

  • @TheGreatRugbyworld yes true but in my view marc lievmont picked the wrong back row.. 6 harinardoquy 7 dusatoir 8 picamoles .. has a balance of raw power and abilty to rob ball at rucktime.

    back row for ireland?

  • @MyCORMAC I rather agree, but France is deep at back row. I mean Picamoles, Dusautoir and Harinordoquy are the best right now but Nyanga, Ouedraogo, Bonnaire & Lakafia are great backups. Irish back row is talented too (Ferris/O'Brien/Heaslip - the best Irishmen at their position right now?) but in my opinion France has the greatest mix of quickness, power, tackling ability and running skills at back row. I think the only thing where Ireland is better at is rucking but maybe I'm quite biased ;)

  • @TheGreatRugbyworld id be the same :L i feel o brian is not a natural 7 and is best on the blindside. i feel they should start dominic ryan (19 year old prodigy) at 7 and develop him into a typical 7 like pocock and mccaw as we lack them in ireland

  • @TheGreatRugbyworld Another Irish prodigy is a player called Johnny Muldoon, a pure bred Connacht man, if good players were considered on agggresion alone, he would be right up there with the best in the world, you should make a video of him.

  • @TheGreatRugbyworld Italy's back row is good too, with Parisse,Zanni (USAP wants him), Barbieri and Derbyshire.

  • @EllliotJackRussel2 ya Parisse and Zanni are my two favorite italian players and they're both very talented, Sergio is without a doubt one of the 3 best N°8 in the world. But Italy's back row is still less dominant and consistant than Ireland and French ones' in my opinion

  • @TheGreatRugbyworld probably it's true, but Robert Barbieri is doing great performances with Treviso at n.8, last week he was in Planetrugby team of the week.

  • @MyCORMAC he will start at n.8 against Italy in 6N

  • @EllliotJackRussel2 italy has a good back row with bergasmaco to bring back the insanity! ireland and france on paper has the best back row but wales also have class one. Warbuton future world player of the year..

sean o brian is good at 8 but i feel better at 6. how is kidney going to handle the flood of back row talent coming through? = chris henry willie faloon, dominic ryan, rhys ruddock, kevin mclaughlin peter o`mahony butler (from munster dont know first name) wilson?

  • Très belle vidéo tu mérite beaucoup plus de vue!!!!

  • Super joueur et jolie vidéo!!!

  • Machine *_*

  • Trop une machine

  • ps: tu fait un boulot mafgnifique

  • Implacable

  • he's really unselfish with the ball. what a good teammate

  • Doublement terrible ! La vidéo et l'un de mes joueurs préféré mi en scène !

    Merci !

  • One of the strongest back row to grace the fields.

  • strong ball carrier

  • On sent le supporter de Toulouse, ce qui n'est pas pour me déplaire :D

    Magnifique vidéo comme d'habitude :)

  • Yeah defently good video!
