I live in Connecticut which happenes to be the same place Jimmi is from - let me tell you Jimmi is just as good as Zakk - in fact they both had the audition for Ozzy, Zakk got it because he was younger - Jimmi is that good he can play that fast all the time and with note definition - The best thing about him is that he is one of the most humble guys you will ever meet - and he is always willing to talk shop with whomever....

I think what you meant to say is that Jimi Bell's technique is better than Zakk's. Well it still holds that you're nuts. Zakk plays WAY cleaner, with WAY more punch, and greater technicality. And in case you didn't notice, Jimi is emulating Zakk Wylde's style in this very video; which goes to say something.

Nah, no way in hell Jimi has more "skill" (as you put it) than Zakk.

Nonetheless, I'll give that Jimi is a great guitarist and I've always held that.

zakk ia a great musician and a guitar player he not like those other fast guitar player who can only play fast and write shit music. but i said again jim technicality is better than zakk. if both have a guitar solo guitar jim will win for sure. i never hear jim own music yet so i cannot comment on that but zakk style go great with ozzy.

i do know about zakk from the first day he join ozzy band! but jim i really don't know him from what i have see and heard from this video his technicality is way better than zakk. i saw zakk play acoustic already it is cool. i saw all guitar solo by zakk and is all sound the same to me good but not great like jim here!

What I don't understand is that technique for you is prolly = only speed (w/o note definition)... Well that and your Engrish.

This gentlemen does have much skill and I know he was second to Zakk wylde for the Ozzy audition, but I am a guitar player and I have an ear for certain styles and patterns and I don't understand why if he lost to zakk that he ended up sounding just like him wtf? OR maybe Zakk stole his style! Either way he is great but all that is is a lot of practice, go listen to some matt pike, or alan holdworth those dudes at least have their own style, even if it was the result of a lot of practice

I live in Connecticut, Jimi Bell used to work at several different music stores around the area. I used to go there just to watch him practice. It's one thing to see it live but when you actually sit down with him and watch him play from 5 feet away, it's quite impressive. He has this amazing relentless ability to just blaze all the time but he does this 24/7.

Saw Jimi in Newcastle Upon Tyne legends last night.they rocked big time.Jimi has to be not just one of the coolest players on the planet but also one of the most approachable musicians I have met.Thanks to Hard Rock House who put their necks on the line to make the gig a reality ...I see they have White Lion coming to newcastle in June..and Danny Vaughan to the Cluny in decemeber.If you love rock support those gigs as the guys at Hard Rock House work their asses off to get things off the ground.

If you are not impressed by this solo listen to his work with the House of Lords he is underrated he is definitely better than a lot that are making big money out there......Keep up the good work..keep rockin

I saw him in Seville, Spain this week. He blew my mind. What a great guitarrist!!Amazing technique, great phrasing, and lot of feel. He was always smiling at the crowd and looked that he was enjoying the show as much as we did. Jimi you have a new fan.
