  • Love Ruff, what a sweetie.

  • how can i go black to a brown

  • Which color brown? Dark brown, medium brown, or light brown?

  • how do you make hair color last? I hear red fades the fastest. I use to have red hair and it did fade really fast but it was permanent so it lasted longer than others....I was just wondering what you recommend for beautiful long lasting red?-Thank you;)

  • It's dependent on which color products you use and the health of your hair. You can make any color last longer by simply not washing it again for a few days after you color. This helps hold the color. The other thing is to use conditioners especially made for colored hair. The best way to hold color though, is to keep your hair healthy. Don't over process it or use too many products in your hair. Harsh shampoos can also remove colors, so use a good conditioning shampoo made for colored hair.

  • Awesome, thank you! Pretty much simple info but stuff I didn't always think about cause my hair wasn't very healthy when I colored it and I used a lot of products and never used products for colored hair. which is funny cause I have used shamp and condish for colored hair but never when my hair was colored.... weird! -Thanks. I love your vids;)

  • Many times, its the simple stuff that women don't think about doing. You can also use products for specific colors. I use John Frieda products cause they work well, smell great, and are inexpensive to buy. (In the US anyway) I also like to use glazes. You can find them in clear or in different colors. Always use the dry method though, or you won't have much color success. They help refresh color inbetween. Use gloves for glaze applications that have color though, or you'll make a color mess:o)

  • Thank you so much:) Have a great day

  • Hi, I have a hair care question. I color my hair dark brown. My original color is dark brown. I have some grey thats the reason I color at all. My hair always turns out slighty redish on top and darker on the rest. only the new growth turns out redish which isn't that bad however, it is noticeble under a light or when I'm in bright sun light. no one has ever said any thing about it but , I know it's lighter. How much is your book and how do I get it ? Thank you !

  • Because the answer to this question could get rather extensive, could you please request to be my friend, then I can email you the answer on youtube. I cannot leave 'links' and give full info in these comments areas. They don't allow enough character space! My user name is 'notaditdot'. Thanks and have a great day!

  • It's good to see you back on, lady... Hope the back is better... Thanks for reminding me it's time (past) for a touch-up! I use straight red henna. Looks like mud, but it's the only thing that lasts on me... xoC

  • Ha chicky! Glad to hear from you too! The back is fine now. Been good for some time. I replaced my mattress which had a dip in it where I sit alot. I think that was the culprit! Henna and I don't get a long well but I'm glad it works for you. Just don't ever try and use regular color in your hair without removing the henna first. You'll have a hair disaster if you do! Cleopatra used henna in her hair too, ya know!!! XO right back!

  • Thanks for the post. The information was really helpful!
