Depends on the particular model, to be honest. I've seen them ranging between £350 and £1000. I've got a Strat copy and it cost about £120.

the guitar used is a black 1978 Strat belonging to my dad, for which he paid around £350 for that year. it's now worth around £1500. fantastic vintage sound (the crappy sound recording doesn't do it justice)

i'm not happy with the sound, it's too punchy - sounds distorted at high volumes as i recorded using my sony ericcson phone. i plan to record (with better lighting also!) again over the summer. watch this space...
