I am a professional singer who sang in the IDF Rabbinical Singing Choir With Mona Rosenblum = Mashiach, Mashiash and had the pleasure to perform on stage while Dudu Fischer volunteered his songs for me to sing to my mom when she came to see me in Modiin on Chanukah.

  • @LadyxDeathx TheGreat SAge Rabbi Akivah( Circa 70AD) Said

"LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF" is a very important message given in the books of moses

THats the whole song. To stipulate its importance of loving ones neigbor.

  • @LadyxDeathx im gonna try to explain it.

so there is this rabbi (akiva) says there is a rule towards the torah, love you neighbor as yourself. i think becasue the word v'ahavta means love in hebrew.

  • @iheartcookies012 veahavta means: and you should love (in hebrew) "and you should love your nieghbor as you love yourself"

  • @bicacullen hello, im a 6th grader that goes to a jewish day school in manhattan. i do think my explanation was ok. so um yeah.

  • @iheartcookies012 I'm 17 andI live in Isreal most of my life, so I think my Hebrew is a little better than yours. ahava means love , and ואהבת זה לשון ציווי meaning" and you should love" shabbat shalom! make aliya!

so basically you should treat yor friend like you would to yourself and dont think your more important.

  • I am very thankful for your answer. I would be very glad if you could translate a few other songs for me( because you can understand hebrew very well): Shabichi, Hillel, Koli Sh'ma and Bar Hey Hey. The first and the secon one is the most important for me, because those are my favourite songs. If it is takes too much time to translate them, please just write down the translation of titles.

Thank you for your GREAT help!

    Be blessed!

למקרה שעברית לא מובנת לך הנה תרגום:

    Translation:

Of course!! The natural place of all Jewish people is in Israel. You should not be surprised that a Jew live in Israel and speak Hebrew. You are also invited to Israel.
