  • sounds like a hurricane!

  • and why arent the exhaust gases going through the turbo? dont get it....

  • @naveed80 It is a ProCharger, not a turbo. There is a small belt to the left of it that powers it.

  • Is that a turbo running off a crankshaft?

  • @thegoldenduck456 supercharger

  • @xNibz12345 I know what a supercharger is, but it looks like a turbo.

  • @thegoldenduck456 omg its a centrifugal suoercharger a turbo uses exhaust gas

  • @xNibz12345 Yeah, I know what a turbo is, I know this isn't one.

My point is that it looks like one.

  • @thegoldenduck456 omg so dumb yes its almost 1/2 of a turbo happy but its not gosh

  • @xNibz12345 Never said it was, why do you get so angry so easily.

  • that is a bench engine....... if it ain't drivin' a car it is purely hypothetical....... get it out on a track to do some business and stop wanking around ..........

  • hey just a question what are the cables/lines running from the exhaust manifold for? are they temp sensors or mix sensors or something?

  • @matyc13 I think they're just EGT (exhaust gas temperature) sensors. You see them on dyno headers alot but you'll have to google it or something to learn more. I've never messed with them.

  • Ill take 2.

  • i just got a boner

  • why Ethanol?

  • @russotragik Ethanol has a much higher octane rating than gasoline and evaporates at a much lower temperature as well. This allows for higher compression ratios and a cooler running engine resulting in better efficiency and producing MORE POWER!!!!

  • seriusly thought that shit was gunna have a fucking baby

  • This thing will pass everything but a gas station

  • This is the new 2011 Civic VTEC engine..

  • sounds like a freaking jet engine the whole time lol

  • another definition of 1 horspower something capable or raising 550 pounds 1 foot in 1 second if you weigh 275 pounds and can climb 2 feet vertical on a stair or hill in 1 second then your legs put out 1 hp some humans can do this for a short time if you weigh less then you have to climb higher to say you put out 1 hp athletic people could put out 1 hp for a longer time 1hp equals 746 watts or 550 foot foot pounds per second

  • Is it just me, or did this engine just pull 2366 hp without the visual drama-though beautiful drama-that 1X00 hp engines perform? This seems smooth to me.Very nice...

  • id put this in a F1

  • @chevy69burn yeah at least there would be awesome stuff to hear instead of those mosquito buzzers :D

  • what will this fit into?

  • BBC + ATI = insane HP

  • if i stick my wenis in it...

  • Warning turbo may suck in babies and small animals.

  • @Irideunited13 its actually a centrifugal supercharger

  • This is what powers my norelco beard trimmer...

  • @eittam43 LOL

  • what da fuck?

  • Will it blend?

  • ya i dropped this into my moms minivan. shes never floors it though...

  • When I drink alcohol I loose power, how come?

  • throw this in a late 60s camaro

  • sounds like someone screamimg.....

  • Yeah, but can it dance!

  • Why go turbo and supercharged for your next mad engine?

  • i wonder what degree heads those are.? none the less thumbs way up steve..!!

  • One thing Charlie sheen cant out-snort...

  • someone have make this already, i didnt see that... thanks

  • i beleive i see a turbo

  • @monkeymangonewild this is not a turbo, its a blower... cant u see that?

  • @ktrskalango uhmm i dont know much bout them but it increases the oxygen intake to have more of an explosion and im dang sure the part on the front is a turbo....... if you dont know the difference between a turbo and a blower ur perty dumb.....there is no difference at all. do some research before u try to make someone look stupid

  • @monkeymangonewild

Its a supercharger... a turbocharger is driven by exhaust gasses, superchargers are driven by the engines crank either by a belt or gears like in this case.

As you can see this is driven by the crank not by exhaust gasses, therefor its a supercharger.

Turbochargers and superchargers both compress air so there very similar but not the same.

  • @JuzzyProX well i just learned something on youtube maybe they will let us have youtube at school

  • @monkeymangonewild i think u dont with who u are talking about, o gonna make that very clear to u, a Turbo charger use the exaust gases to spin the turbo, a blower (some times looks like a turbo, but dont have the hot part) use the power of the crankshaft to intake air into the engine. ok? i think u have to do more research, not me. if u have more doubt about it i can make clear to u.. thanks

  • @monkeymangonewild It looks that way for a reason, its a good way to compress gas, air is a gas. now lets spin it, would you like exhaust or crank driven?

  • The new 2011 Civic angine.. 30% more VTEC

  • Is this faster than a Porsche engine?

  • @xme71 1700hp faster lol

  • well, this is what I call a drag race engine!

  • aaah, just a typical lawnmower engine

  • typical chevy, doesnt even idle haha

  • @hottrodder805 yep typical chevy...out running everything else on the planet....

  • that engine is as big as a smart car.

  • Chuck Norris have one of those in his unicycle

  • Dear tires....sorry

  • why the jesus fish at the start of video

  • @petfishies Because God recommends this motor.... lol

  • i wouldnt recomend walking in front of that beast while it was running. it would suck your ass straight in.

  • omg....i dont think il ever hear again

  • beast

  • sounds like apocalypse!!!

  • someone want to fill me in please? is that a crank driven turbo charger, or am i missing something?

  • @YOUONLYLIVEONCE08 Its a centrifugal supercharger, in this case gear driven, but for the most part your correct. Centrifugal superchargers are essentially the compressor side of a turbo, just the turbo uses a turbine and the supercharger uses a belt, chain or gear to drive it.

  • i think the supercharger is feeding testosterone to the engine

  • @JasonMann8 No no no...it's feeding Honda blood into the engine!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL it will blast the exaust pipes :D

  • This engine is designed from Chuck Norris' specs as a replica

  • Chuck Norris approves this engine

  • @colegraham Chucky love this baby ;)

  • @colegraham this motor is in chuck norris' weedwacker

  • If that engine would have been a beer, it would have been the strongest beer in the world!

  • Thats about almost enough to make my bicycle do 10mph

  • @habu9999 Did your bicycle weight 5000 tons !!!!!!

    :P

  • @oOProStreetRacerOo Yeah with me on it xD

  • @habu9999 Damn, how heavy is that bike? o.o"

  • @xXIonTechXx 'bout 5000 tons :)

  • what the?? a 'turbosupercharger' lmfao ubercool idea :D:D

  • @weetnietgeen no thats not a turbo, its a centrifugal supercharger...they look like turbos but they're not.

  • thats a fucking mean engine

  • its a wind mill on a friggin car

  • I thought that was a massive turbo!!!!!!!!

  • sounds like a tornado. lol

  • @Warblade118 it depends on which was invented first

  • @jimkamenidis What does when they were invented have to do with anything? There are three types of superchargers in mainstream use today, the roots supercharger, the centrifugal supercharger, and the turbo-supercharger. They’re all superchargers.

  • it's an super-charger not turbo

  • @jimkamenidis A turbo is a type of supercharger.

  • @jimkamenidis it's a pro charger. but, close enough.

  • @hilltop530

Which is a brand of supercharger....

  • I can hear the screams of all they dieing children in this engine.

  • just been sick ;lol

  • Now put that into a car and race us at the texas mile.

We're in the same HP league.

  • Now it needs 2 turbos

  • what a beautiful fireplace

  • @giovaniluci it's just such noisy as a fireplace :/ and the suction is probably dangerous

  • put this on a car and try to drag race with it>>>>

i think the car wont go anywhere because of wheelspin lol>>>>

  • i wanna one <3

  • that motor is going in a 1/4 car, because thats as far as it can get on a full tank of gas... xD

  • @simplejax Actually it runs on alcohol, not gas. And fuel economy in an engine like this is bad, but not THAT bad. Put it back on pump gas and its probably a little worse than any regular big block. The nice thing about big motors on the street is you can really lug them around at low rpm. Get an overdrive an I think a motor like this one on gas would probably be around 12mpg maybe 15? But really, if has that much power, who cares?

  • @Warblade118 try more like 2mpg

  • @thehowl666 And what are you basing that on? Opinion? As I said, big motors don’t get great mpg, but because they are big and have fat tq curves, and you an lug them a 12-1500 rpm going down the highway. And this motor is fuel injected, which will help better control fuel use. I’ve seen motors like these (on gas) get around 10 to 15 mpg and still make crazy power.

  • @Warblade118 well i havent seen any

  • @thehowl666 You don’t have actually see one to understand that even a 500+ ci motor with a procharger will get more than 2mpg, unless you are ALWAYS on the throttle, or the thing is running terribly. Hell, a big rig, pulling thousands of lbs, gets a little better than 2mpg. Pretty sure this motor isn’t going to be pulling anything close to that much weight.

  • i woild put my girlfriend in that car and make some drags till she turns blue and puke :)))))

  • this thing sucks a complete dog inside the turbochargerer without getting any kind of damage :D

  • is this what they mean with ''turbocharger''?? cause it operates like a supercharger but sounds and works like regular turbo on steroids :O

  • This powers Air Force One right?

  • sounds like... air..

  • now take it all apart and rebuild to find what part you just murdered . just like a drag engine.

  • big engines for little dicks. what's the reason for that.... american culture pointless.

  • tourque = push back in seat

horsepower = push back in seat when your already doing 80 mph

  • @cmcbunch hp is simply an akward unit of measuring power output, that is why you see alot of measurements in kilowatts now instead of hp. ( hp = torque x rpms)

(watts = torque x rpms). for example my motorcycle puts out 100 hp at 12000 rpm with about 40 lb/ft and my corolla puts out 100 hp at 5000 rpm with around 100 lb/ft. the thing is with high rev motors you need to me a magician with the gears to have power all the time

  • @danthemanzizzle Torque wins races. HP sells cars.

  • @Warblade118 eh ok..

  • @VOLVO964 Ok, what? You’ve never heard that phrase before?

  • @Warblade118 nope, and it is stupied^^

  • @VOLVO964 That phase I mentioned is a bit syndical, I’ll admit, but hardly stupid. There is more truth to it than you realize. Often tq and more importantly tq curves, are overlooked in conversations comparing performance were there is a little bit of an undeserved emphasis placed on HP.

  • @Warblade118 ok, now i know that you have a clue about what u talking about!

but i dont agree, for an example; a F1 car have lots of hp (at high rpm) but low tq, and a relative small tq curve. a truck have big tq curve at low rpm = it delivers the power over a larger range. but the F1 car will win the race, but need more shifting to keep the power up. as long as it can hold its torqe curve it will win becaus it have more hp´s. maybe a silly example, and sry for a maybe bad english

  • Comment removed

  • @VOLVO964 Please read the comment I directed at danthemanzizzle. Were I gave an example of what horsepower and torque is. The reason your example is not a good one is a truck is not a race car. You’re comparing an extremely light F1 with moderate and peaky torque to a very heavy truck. Now if you but an f1 engine in a truck A and a diesel engine in truck B, truck B would easily pull more than truck A. You put a diesel in an f1 and there is no way it could keep up with normal f1 racecars.

  • @Warblade118 yes ofc. but i think you get the point, race a car with 500 hp and 250nm vs. a 250 hp and 500 nm. the 500 hp will win easily if it can use the horsepower efficently with the transmission. torqe + rpm = HP.

  • @VOLVO964 You’re right. The only thing I would add to your example is it depends entirely on the car. If the two cars are light, HP wins, if the two cars are heavy, torque wins. Just don’t think that HP always wins. Okay?

  • @Warblade118 yes, in old american cars with maybe only 3 gears i can believe that the tq curve are more important than the maximum hp.

does the weight matter? i would not think so? it depends ofc on the transmission, but if it works effective with the motor curves the weight should not matter.

i can add that you dont have to shift gear all the time on a racetrack, which could be to your advantage vs a higher hp and lower tq car.

  • Comment removed

  • @simplejax that is not realistic...

i guess you dont know what u are talking about, hp and tq ARE related to each other...

  • @simplejax horsepower is made from torque. torque is a rotary force and horsepower is a measure of how far a strong horse can move 33,000 pounds in one min. you get horsepower from multiplying the amount of torque by the rpm the torque was made at. then you divide it by a number that works as a constant and there is your horsepower. when your building an engine for performance you always want to worry about torque first and making the flattest torque curve so it will make more hp. :)

  • @rebelforever24 hey thanks for explaining that to me, i appreciate the knowledge i just gained :D

  • @rebelforever24 shit man where were you when i was having an argument with some roatry fairy and trying to explain how a car doesnt "have" horsepower. well said man.

  • @rebelforever24 horsepower is not directly related to torque. Torque is the measurement of rotational force, that's easy. Horsepower is the amount of power (1) it takes to move 33k lbs. the distance of one foot in one minute. So it uses Time, Distance, and Force. Two totally different measurements.

Some dynos only measure torque and thus calculate the horsepower. That might be where the confusion is.

  • @viasevenvai torque is what pushes you back in your seat when you hit the gas ;P I like that definition better lol.

  • @viasevenvai I know this. But horsepower is measured from torque in an engine. When a dyno calculates the horsepower it is measured from torque. So what you have said does not disprove anything i previously stated. But it is glad to know that more people know that fact.

  • @rebelforever24 while we're on the subject; Do you know the difference of the dyno calculation difference when the lines cross at 5,200rpm versus the other way when they don't?

Cause I don't. I know it's a formula that uses the number 5200 but the other one does something different.

  • @viasevenvai That is a good question. You see Im only 15 years old ad have not had any hands on experience with a dyno. I just study engines quite a bit and learn the secrets behind them. What I know is that torque and hp will always be equal at 5255 rpms. And when you think about it, The rpms are a lot higher number than the torque. So thats why horsepower always raises as the rpms get higher. The bigger number matters more.Im not quite sure of your question haha. But this is a fun conversation

  • @Warblade118 i think less than 1% of the population of north america really knows what hp is. there just like MAN IT HAZ TREE HUNDRED HP. the most basic way to explain it is torque = acceleration, hp = top speed which is why bikes with under 100 ft lbs can go 190 mph and youd be lucky to get a 6 liter diesel to do that no matter what its strapped to XD.

  • @danthemanzizzle I think a even simpler way of saying it is torque is the capacity to do work, HP is the rate at which work is done. That’s why, with comparatively a lot of HP in you’re bike you go fast, look at how little work has to be done (the weight of you and the bike) so you need little tq and more hp. A diesel truck on the other hand is asked to do a ton of work, but not required to do it very fast, I.e. pull a heavy load up a hill. HP and TQ need to fit the application.

  • why use exhaust driven turbos when you have gear driven ones like on this engine? Isnt that the better way to go?

  • @BUNCHofxs that makes it a supercharger.

  • @Zenki240sxse ahhh i see. so thats the difference between turbo and super charge

  • @BUNCHofxs exhaust driven turbos straight up just make horsepower. and a supercharger has to take power away to spin the gears that run it so your making more power yes but not as much as you can with a turbo. im personally all for turbos

  • @BUNCHofxs I believe the gear driven ones reduce turbo lag so a larger turbo can be used to give massive power at full throttle and in the mid range.

  • @danthemanzizzle I was thinking the same thing

  • now put it in a car

  • at this point its not miles per gallon, its gallons per mile

  • is that the same engine they use in jets?

  • Fuck..... What in earth is nessesary for that ?!!!! ahaaaa.

  • Maybe :)

  • gas motor sport 2jz drag car engine 3200 cc engine 2100 hp makes ur yank engines look like a joke doesnt it

  • @wapitiman100 dude dont swear v8s rule

  • @zakbag v8s are cool but most of them r old crap design with pushrods and 2 valves per cylindes fords quad cam v8s are mean

  • @wapitiman100 so long as its lumpy as hell

  • @wapitiman100

Every engine has its flaws, but I think a nicely set up SBC is about as good as it gets for sheer baddassery, as long as you dont want to waste money on a big block. (Talking about street engines) On a similar note, what about the LS engine? You know, the crappy 2V pushrod engine that still powers Corvettes? Not trying to be an ass but come on, show some respect for the 'old crap design'.. Its been around since '55!

  • @wapitiman100

How about a 500 Cu in Monster drag motor that makes over 8000 Hp , makes that look like a tinker toy ...

  • i think that motor sucked the air out of the room thru the computer

  • Love the numbers but don't you think that's alittle to much

  • wow...thats incredible power...it's a beast

  • i believe we're talkin' about... oh... say...

32 GALLONS per MILE. (that's just a guess, ive heard of about 8 gallons being burned for just one fourth mile pass.)

  • Y wil that in my seat!!! :P

    peace from the Netherlands ;)

  • What will this be put in? A boat maybe? Forced induction system is it under or over driven? How much boost. Thats awesome power, how long will it last? Very cool.

  • If my car had this in it. It would take launch in the air.

  • At the end of the day the problem is fitting it into your car.

  • @FourSidedPiston More like the problem would be paying for it.

  • @FourSidedPiston you dont drop this engine into any car you build a car around an engine like this that kind of Tq.will turn a street car into a pretzel

  • fraquinho

  • dyno flog..... redo it properly and get real numbers

  • @150aintenuff its a Morris engine... do dome research and youll learn for yourself

  • its HOW he dyno'd the motor... he didnt allow the dyno to grab and pull the motor he went WOT and as the dyno took hold he shut it down... its a way to skew the numbers up higher than they really are..

  • Comment removed

  • Do prochargers give more peak power than turbochargers?

  • @FourSidedPiston no turbos give more HP the torqe from a supercherger starts lower in the rpm range

  • that thing just sounds scary

  • Plus ALL silly VaginaTech hondas will sound like a loud leaf blower, no matter how fast it is. That silly honda rice noise will always be more gay than Andy Dick in San Francicso. And this thing is a Chevy, so you know it's fast.
