I visited Keng Tung two years ago. As a native of Chiang Mai Province, I feel that the Tai people are my brothers and sisters. We eat the same kind of food and speak the same dialect. Keep on fighting. I wish you victory.
Hey, thanks so much for posting this documentary. I learned a lot! I'm Thai; and I feel like the Shan/Tai people are our brothers. The Burmese military junta truly needs to be extinguished. Not only does it harm ethnic minorities like the Tai, it also suppresses its own ethnic Burmese people under an oppressive government. Message to the Burmese ruling regime: one day you'll pay for what you've done to the Tai people and to the Burmese people.
I feel so sad for Tai people that they are suffering from the Burmese military. I hope one day they all can go through........God bless Shan State!

I am impressed to see how devout the Shan to Buddhism and their loyalty to the King of Thailand. I hope that things will get better.
