  • What makes these movies great is the sound and music. You can feel the driness in the air because of the music. I love the way you put all the movies together on one screen. Great effect.

  • For a few dollars More, for having the most interesting plot. The music for GBU is the best for building up but I feel that the plot in FAFDM is the trump...

    Great video BTW!

  • GBU is the best

  • Great video. I would have never thought of putting them all together and blending the music like that. They really are all wonderful films, personally I think they order of their release from newest to oldest ranks them pretty well. Leone just kept getting better and better at making them.

  • That's a hard one... personally, I love For a Few Dollars More's ending the most... but it's a tough call, I also really love OUTW and GBU's... I love how the music is part of the story of For a Few Dollars More and Once Upon a Time in the West. But I love Lee Van Cleef as The Bad.

  • Once Upon A Time In The West

  • if only they could make films like these now, we niether have the actors or the writers to come anwhere near these classics, we have lost all the class actors from these films apart from eli walach.

  • Good Bad and the Ugly builds up the tension like no other, but For a Few Dollars More really has the touching music to complement the tragic plotline that is revealed.

  • Once Upon a Time in the West is EPIC.

  • i think OUTW ending was the best because the way leone revealed the reason behind bronsons revenge right before he shoots fonda, and it had the best music. Even though i think OUTW ending was the best i still like the dollar series better

  • I cant decide! Either GBU or OUTW

  • where did you get tht version of all those song together

  • Nice compilation - it illustrates very well what a master of the close-up Leone' was. Thanks! I enjoyed it very much. Great westerns with great actors, great finale's all rolled into one. Bravo

  • Hard to choose but I think a few dollars more just edges it (the watch tune just perfects it)

On a related note I reckon Eastwood probably stars in at least half the top 10 gunfights ever filmed...

  • Nobody did or still does duels like Sergio Leone. He'd take a simple quick draw and turn it into art.

  • While The Good The Bad And the Ugly is my favorite film out of the bunch, i prefer the duel from the ending of For A Few Dollars More and Once Upon A Time In The West... It is really hard to make up my mind.

  • I think the one from Once upon a time in the west is the best, becaus this and the one from for a few Dollars more are the most personal betwen the opponents. Frank killed Harmonicas brother, Indio killed Mortimers sister. The reason why I like OUTW more is becaus what would happen to Indio if he win? He would get shot by Eastwood and so the duel was over for him when Eastwood appeard.

  • FaFDM is the definitive western duel and the classic music doubles the effect that the scene would have otherwise had. For me, the best.

  • #1 Lee Van Cleef in GBTU... missing digit on his finger, squinty eyes...

#2 Fonda in OUTITW... blues eyes and crooked face....

#3 LVC in Few dollars more... the intensity of revenge...

    #4 Charles Bronson ...see above

#5 Clint and the cigar GTBTU

  • El Indio was such a great bad guy, I wish they had fleshed him out alot more than they had

  • Once Upon a Time in the West was my favorite. Leone really ups the ante with that entire film. It's truly a western to end all westerns.

  • I think They all have unique aspects:

-AFFoD is the most original one.

-FaFDM and OuaTitW perfectly relate to the characters adding more weight to the plot.

-GBU looks rather simplistic but has (to me) the greatest atmosphere.

  • cant make my mind up all brill well done for posting thx

  • They are all good, for slightly different reasons. I prefer GBU, for the overall feeling of the film, then OUTW, the first time I saw the hanging it devastated me :-(

  • 60s top rated western movies

  • excellent idea. We need more combo's of these BIG 4

  • Excellent! very well done, didnt know where to look :P

I like the GBU one best.
