There are those who also ‘X’ Christ from the word, “Christmas” (Xmas) for the same reason. I think part of the reason we are seeing more non-believers come out and speak up is due to the reason that you're trying to insert your religious beliefs into our lives. We don't want creationism taught in a science class along side actual scientific theories as if it follows science. You try inserting regulations and laws based on what you believe that affect me. @MisterSelatcia I think the main reason is we of the faith, or in any religion don't want our children dumping religion just because evolution and science seem to contradict it. now i think must christians and otehr theists at heart don't really want religion in the science class. but what we do think is fair is to have a class about theology in high schools for all religions so people can learn about them and if nothing else be more accepting and open to others beliefs. sound fair?

Dawkins should have asked o'reilly about the tides because apparently the tides prove the existence of god as well. As for dawkins being an idiot he holds mutiple degrees in such fields as bio-chemistry and evolutionary biology. If this god was to make itself "known" to some and not to others(for no humanly understandable reason). I would ask one thing of it: Tell all in heaven - 1.I had good reason for not believing it existed 2.I had the balls to tell it what I thought of it 3.Heaven would be the last place I'd like to spend eternity.

God could not hold a person responsible for the lack of faith if faith came from Himself. Hebrews 11:6 shows that each person is responsible for his faith, not God.
