All these comments are like 182737 xp42. On the Mac and idk what any of that means lol but I will pretend I do so put the isomp1234 on the 4321pmosi and you will get it did you get wut I did I put my last one backwards oh how I crack my self up
Some of you guys are fucked , are you not able to see the kid giving it a go despite his condition, thats balls man, not a scrawny little pansy behind a computer screen that wastes his words/time on criticising things which cannot be 'helped'. wake up muthafuker.
Sorry boy, but Mac computers just have one thing more, the EFI, wich was developed by intel as a successor of the BIOS. Maybe some Chips more, but they are not essential. Today you can install Windows on a Mac, abn MacOSX on a PC (search for "osx86").
I have always preferred Mac. Actually, I loved the pre OS X models best. I use OS X now, but I use PC w/Windows Vista primarily. I do this because I got tired of fighting with comptibility problems. My employment setting uses PC only. :-(
I disagree, you said that using Mac was easier for you and such. And the video software etc. I would say that the largest difference is the fact that Mac hardware is DEVELOPED by MAC. for Mac software. Wich is why the hardware has to be certified by Mac. Keep the videos coming. -Hacker_
Can you run the latest games like Crysis and such in the program that allows Windows "Emulation"? How well does this actually work? Can you run all programs inside of it? For example Dvd decrypter?
My question is: How different is the Intel processor in a Mac vs. the one in a PC? In other words, can I install Mac OSX on my Unix machine just because it's got an Intel processor? What about RAM? Is the RAM different in a Mac vs. a PC?
Technically, you can install Mac OSX on a non-Mac machine, but it's very complicated. The processors on a Mac and PC now are almost, if not identical, and the RAM has no difference what so ever, you can use most types of RAM on Macs and PCs. I hope this helps your query,
Yep. Though, I don't recommend trying, just Google OSx86, about the Mac OSX running on a PC. But, in regards to RAM, on a Mac Pro, it uses a special type of RAM- I forgotten what it's called.

you can hardly run crysis on a "regular PC" in windows xp or vista.
why would you choose that program as an example?

first of all, current macs are internally identical to high end, oem pcs.
apple has just selected hardware to support so that driver issues don't arise.
this allows for VERY easy installation of XP, Vista or what have you on current apple machines.
dual-booting between them is very common.

virtual machine use of linux, dos, solaris, etc. in OS/X, XP or what have you is only limited by ram and swap space.
what this means is that you can and WILL play crysis in a virtual machine in the near future.

It took only 29 years for Apple to get a 4.3% market share.
