  • omg please ud be the best if you make and post a the tutorial on how to make the clouds :) please!

  • Great! I'm going to do jussing's tutorial as well for a demo for a musical about timetraveling.

Very skilled artist, and also great that you shared your knowledge to all of us!

    Thank you very much!

Oh, superb render btw! The xplain movement isn't really convincing but I get the point.

  • You're welcome =D

Yeah, im not that good at animations. Im better at FX.

Im not using 3ds max anymore, but Adobe After Effects.

  • Hey Rancor27,

Do you still know what kind of texture you used for this one? Was it the same like Jussing or did you tweak it?

  • Hey Mate,

For the X-Wing or the clouds?

Well...there is a game: Battlefield 2142. I downloaded a mod named: First Strike and I opened it with 3ds max. Texture was included. And for the Clouds...i dont know. I think i used jussing's settings..

  • looks incredible. You not only took the tutorial but added your own personal touch to it and the results are amazing.

One question, for the propulsors/turbines exhausts or whatever, did you use some kind of flare and glow effects?

Please explain because they look really good.

  • Thanks, I really appreciate it xD

Well, its a long time ago, since I made this vid (and worked with 3ds Max), uhh...and yes, I think I used a flare (u know, the one if you click on the "light" tab, the first one who lights every direction) and added glow effects. I dont remember any more what settings I used, cause its a long time ago I worked with 3ds max 9. Any when I know something more I'll tell it and thanks for the compliment xD

  • wow, this is really great 10/10 the effects are awesome and the clouds look great, I too have 3D max but I dont know how to use it. but ya this video is great just add some music and some sound FX's and it would be a 20/20 :D

  • Thanks for the compliment, I really apreciate that. I dont have sound FX for the X-Wing so...maybe next time.

  • Great! Definitely one of the best completions of the tutorial I've seen.

  • Well, thanks. The tutorial is also very good :P
