Yes, most shibas don't like water. My red shiba doesn't care for it much. My b&t shiba really loves it though and wants to swim anytime he gets a chance.

i have a male black and tan shiba that looks alot like Deshi. Mikey hates water though he will stand on the beach and whine and frantically dig while my husband and i and our red shiba Sully take a swim. Its really funny!! Deshi is so cute!!
