It's an old video but i'm hoping for a response. I have gecko 1931, which is what i figured Gecko OS is, but when i get to the black screen i get a few issues. 1.unable to find boot.elf file, 2.unable to load USB Gecko, 3. unable to load codes. (Other information) - trying to fix the problem, i downloaded a normal file of boot.elf, then it said it wasn't valid. after that it couldn't read the SD card. Also I'm trying to make this work with Brawl minus wtf is usb gecko ive been confused for 8hrs

it isnt nessesary to delete stages if u have a sd drive on cpu. move all wii stages to sd, copy all stages to cpu, then delete.

all you have to do is not run Brawl+ from the menu(just don't put in the SD card that Brawl+ is on, or just dont load stage builder with it in)

you can store the custom stages on an sd card as long as it is not the one you use to load Brawl+. if you have any custom stages on that SD card, it will freeze and make a weird noise

you can have custom stages, but not on your wii or the sd card that loads Brawl+: try backing up all your stages to a blank SD and then when you want to play regular brawl (vbrawl) just load it from there.

and yes, you can boot anything. you can even install homebrew from there...

Ahh ok after reading all the comments I know why brawl+ kept freezing for me at the SSS. The official plusery sets don't have the disable custom stages code in the gct. So if I use gctedit and add that line of code it should work with no problems right?

If you have a dead IOS for some reason or system menu and you send it in and they use a SaveMiiFrii method with an autoboot to fix it and notice you have Homebrew, your paying 75 bucks for like 5 minutes of work. Not good. Considering it would be free. Doesn't void your warranty because it isn't noticeable.

Nope, you do this every time you start the game to play Brawl+, if you want to play vBrawl (regular Brawl), just don't have the SD card in and it will work fine.

Yeah you can use this to any game by loading Brawl, removing the disk and putting a new one in but I skipped over that for a reason, Brawl is the safest game for protection against hackers who dont have the same codes online, Condit and MKWii are ravaged by it.

You don't click anything. It should automatically go to a new screen. This only works on NTSC-U and you cant have any stages, online data or not, there.

Ok just so I have this right, I just Delete all custom stages on my Wii/SD, Download and extract the files onto the SD, run Brawl and go to Custom Stages, and I'll have the latest version of Brawl+ running without having to do anything else?

You just have to run launch game in Gecko OS and you have to do this each time you want to load Brawl+ and yes you will have the latest official build working on your Wii.

I remember reading a while ago about someone that had an idea that people should look for exploits in Brawl. Most people thought that it wasn't really needed because of the TP exploit, but could this actually be used as a new Twilight hack?

Yes it is. It is definitely a new exploit and if Bannerbomb is patched, this will be the new main exploit.
