  • Wo ai ni

  • Thks Yangyang. Yr explanations have clarity. I enjoyed yr lessons.

  • Yangyang, you are the bomb.

  • I Thought Chinese consist of many dialects, for example Cantonese, Fujianese, Taiwanese, Shanghainese, Taishanese, Mandarin and so on.

  • @JeromeLeong Mandarin is the standardized Chinese and not a dialect.

  • @Skabeeri It is a dialect, dialect of northern China. that was long time ago, now the Government of China wants to unite the people by speaking 1 dialect which is Mandarin, and many people mistaken it for Language.

  • So why are compliments not accepted? It was getting interesting.

  • Really2 good chinese teacher... very pretty also:D

your explanation is fantastic, easy to understand and not boring. Would love to have a lesson in person:P

  • ive got your dvd and it was really helpful. and its much more helpful when u c a beautiful teacher :) gonna order it anyway for sure

  • 1:04 - The reason you put 'what' at the end is BECAUSE when you answer the question, you'd say...

The word 'because' should be replaced with 'that'. The reason is that the verb 'is' should always be followed by a noun, pronoun or adjective. 'Because' is a conjunction.

  • you changed your dress.

  • is your web site free XD

  • Smart woman! Seems like a fun class.

  • yoyo老师 我想跟你学教汉语 教得真好 简洁明了

  • Awwe, she is so sweet! And cute!! Thanks for this video! I am gonna move to LA to take lessons with you soon, but mean while I will buy your DVD. At the website right?

  • Seems like Yangyang has developed a Chinese accent when she speaks English. I think it happens to many other ppl as well, such as Daniel Wu and Han Ye Seul. Is there really a tradeoff between being fluent in a foreign language and losing the American accent?...

  • I really wanna Learn Chinese

i Wish i Coul take tutoring for it, im only 16 and im Really interested in Learning Languages .

  • @kne100 That's fantastic that you're interested in languages! :) There are always other alternatives, most obvious example is youtube and the internet. I'm sure there are a few really good podcasts as well, I think Chinese Learn online podcast is pretty good, I'm not sure about the website cause I've never used it. Goodluck learning :D

my name is (islam) & I also want to say I'm from Egypt

You are really a great teacher

  • @ismailyonlinetv chinese names are given by your parents, it's seperate from your english name so there isn't really a chinese version of your name, if you want one you just use chinese characters that sound similar to your name to make one for yourself :P i love how many people ask what is their name in chinese

  • @miglegtr

You need to drop "shi", because in Chinese, adjectives function as verbs, and “piao liang" is already "to be ”piao liang". "shi" is assumed. You understand? :But thank you for the compliment. :)
