  • I have that shirt... I will wear it more often:)

  • this guys a fucking god

  • @pastyfacial Dylan is not God but he's one of the few on planet earth who knows what God might be.

  • did he steal tom petty's hat?

  • I wonder where this was shot, what city is that?

  • @Mirada84 Shot in Camden, London by his friend Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame).

  • Well this kid, Robert Dylan, seems to effect some sort of a folk.... yeah, abonibal snowman, and sasquatch. Is bobby dylan real? or, just another folk hero?

  • Dylan's music comes from the heart and soul unlike this new age shit which is all about people's obsession with money, sex and power. Long live Bob Dylan

  • Bob sells out to nobody.... apart from his soul to the 'chief commander' (quote from interview).

  • @arttrinityart so what about that pepsi commercial a few yrs ago? ....it still tears me up!? ....i mean i still wanna think he lost rights to the song ...right??...

  • Can someone please explain to me, preferably with graphs and charts, how the fuck Bob Dylan is this awesome?

  • @monkeymandoomteller I have the feeling there's no fucking way it's possible to chart something like that.

  • @monkeymandoomteller Sorry, there is no chart long enough to accomodate a graph showing the genius that is Bob Dylan. Try asking NASA to tie a pice of string to their next rocket to Mars and you just might start to get some part of the measure of Dylans musical talent.

  • @monkeymandoomteller is he , i just thought he was a poet with a Guitar , Pen words ,and been around a long time , Awesome . no only to people who don't have a life

  • @monkeymandoomteller its whats missing in dribble "artists" like katie perry; talent, soul and character!

  • @monkeymandoomteller /watch?v=RSf9aEETnvE i think thats enough

  • @monkeymandoomteller Nope... can't. He simply was born with an incredible gift that he nurtured. BTW Anyone know where the street scenes of this vid were shot?

  • @monkeymandoomteller There is no logical explanation, he just is. He is definately one of a kind. There will never be another. We should all feel blessed that he is still walking somewhere amongst us.

  • vevo siktir git lady gaga videolarına sokul bob dylan ı rahat bırak allahsız

  • Good!!! veryy good!!

  • i got blood in my eyes for bob dylan thats for sure.

  • he is such a badass that made a videoclip of him just signing autographs, aha! kidding. this is much better than the weird clip of tight connection to my heart, dont wanna be a spoiler, but he ends in a threesome

  • Comment removed

  • Dear Vevo, I understand that you must advertise so that we can continue to listen to free music, but could you keep it relative? please!

  • what are all those shitty pop songs doing to the right of the video? and how is a bieber song to epic? blow away vevo windbags nobody here's interested in that shit! Bob you rule!!!

  • OMG!!! Brain fart....you are totally right! I'm not sure why I was thinking that....DUH!

  • I know it was yesterday but so what....Happy Birthday Bobby Z....I love you!

  • @wesdan126 ¿? His birthday is may 24th.

  • Wonderfull!

  • This ias my ALL ime favorite musi video. Period...the surreal nature of the old (unknown copyright) song, as performed by dylan. Add in thactual REAL street scenes (no actors or setups) asking for autographs (a very rare Dylan occurance) and the somber one in his eyeswhich in 1993 was not THAT much of an ACT....The song itself isa MATERPIECE...

  • whoever it is from, still a great song anyway.... =D

  • Never really dug this guy. Guess im way to into the instrumentals of a song and his lack of that kinda saddens me. Though I will give him props for having some really, really mellow music. Hats off to Bob.

  • i thought dylan didnt wrote this song -_- actually, the album world gone wrong contains only covers

  • I'd rather have a hot poker shoved in my eye than have to listen to Bob Dylan try to SING... ughhhhhhhhhhh

  • @TheKeetkeet66

then why are you on this video...listening to him sing...not too bright are you

  • @poeticreject because its a free fucking country asshole.

  • @TheKeetkeet66

ha. well that makes sense. I'm in a free country...I'm going to go do something I dont want to do

  • i died a little when i saw joe jonas with more views on the right

  • jimmy page=best guitarist

    john lennon= best song writer

    bob dylan= best combination

    end of conversation.

  • so cool.....touches my soul....HUGSelna<3

  • I heard bob dylan now i'm smarter

  • Oh he went looking for Amy Winehouse

  • Great song.. But I can't follow leaders, gotta watch my parkin' meters! Thanks Bob.

  • youre so good, ypo cant even know

  • Dear vevo nobody gives a flying fuck about katy perry's last friday night, we came do listen to some dylan!!

  • @DandDmasternerd Why don't you stop hating VEVO, yeah it annoys me but if it wasn't for VEVO these amazing songs wouldn't be here.

  • It's a bit Difficult to enjoy Dylan with the annoyance of Katy Perry in the background, reminding how terrible music has become.

  • Dylan is the best artist ever, Lennon is shit.... and sobrevalorado.

  • @crikipxndx dick why cant u love them both

  • @crikipxndx

don't compare artists they are both amazing artists. Stupid idiot

  • @truthseeker100100 fuck yo shit

  • he's all washed up.

  • Classic, intensely romantic love song! Dylan never ceases to amaze me --- he should be made "poet laureate" of our nation.

  • wish my name was BOB!....seems to be alot of bobs out there that are legends

  • wish my name was BOB!

  • wheres the 'love' button?

  • Why can't I run into Bob just walking down the street? LOL anyway this video an song are the shit. Check out the original played by The Mississippi Shieks.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! (=

  • copy and paste: joe floyd corcoran

  • Liar and bullshit talker - can´t see any blood in your eyes !!!

And What? Can´t you buy her with your money - sorry for you then, to belive that humans are to buy with money - like to know how much you are willing to sell out your self for?

One dollar, two, or a million?

Who would like to buy you anyway, can not see any thing you are good for?

  • @meningfull

are you being serious? because im really hoping that was a sick joke, number one bob speaks in metaphors, exp, he also wasnt actually tangled up in blue. number two the money thing was a reference to a prostitute, its song about how love conquers even morale. and three, bob sells out to nobody, that is how he has stayed relevant since the sixties. go listen to a trivial pop song and stay off of art videos

  • @poeticreject did he ask you to respond upon my point of wive?

  • @meningfull

no I can pretty much call all your faults on my own, never insult dylan again, that is beyond low

  • @poeticreject Are you kidding? Oh, I meant to click a vote up, not that it matters.

  • @poeticreject Well I don´t want him so you can keep him satisfied

  • @meningfull

you cant have him. you dont deserve his genius. if you cant feel the power from what he says, then you have a sad heart. do want to talk about it?

  • @poeticreject I also think this is a song about a prostitute. First, it's a folk-blues standard, so you have to look at it in the light of that culture. Second, what's wrong if its a luv song to a street girl? I look at like this: a man, real down on his luck, needs company and he's been in love with this street girl forever and finally has the cash for her. It's not dirty to me, but sadly sweet the way life can be when you're down on the bottom. To me, it's a heartbreaking interpretation.

  • @poeticreject wouldn't you love to be walking down the street and have Bob Dylan put his arm around you? I would probably pass out. LOL!

  • @Katragew

    I'd cry...then die

  • @poeticreject you say he doesnt sell out, but just look at things have changed...i guess thats the point but still what he has changed to is a apathetical religious sellout, still good though. Ill just remember him how he was.

  • @Ezrawiley

I think you should listen to "things have changed" one more time.. pay very close attention to lyric and pattern.

  • @Ezrawiley you know truly enough your kinda right, i have a bias against anything with celebrities, so it just caught me off guard. things have changed. people shouldnt look at all the malarkey and say f it though. Some people may not understand that he has seen a lot in his day

  • @Ezrawiley oh, the times they are a'changin... :P

  • Seeing him tonight. So excited!

  • sum41 rulesssssssss

  • @MoRoY9 sum41 sucks ass u pussie

  • @MoRoY9 sum41 sucks ass u pussy

  • his songs speak to my heart and soul. He is the Mozart of our time. Going to see him next month. I want to see the man who influenced so much change in our world and changed so many lives...Johnny Cash for example. The man is one of a kind...there will never be another like him. God Bless You...Bob Dylan!

  • this is way different than the sum 41 version

  • I can relate to Dylan better than Lou Reed

  • this man is a blessing from God for us to hear and think and feel. There is only one Bob Dylan. He will live forever as he says 'when he stands beside THE KING".

  • whoaaaaaaaaa.... bob the JUGGLER!!!! just when u think the man can't blow ur mind any further he pulls another talent out of his hat. i am wildly impressed and again he is a JOY 2 look at.

  • would everyone like me to explain why dylan is the greatest artist who ever lived?

its because he is a mist..walking on the earth. when he speaks its a beautiful puzzle of a poem, he appears in an awe filled glory, vanishes in a whisp..then leaves you breathless and trapped in thought

  • @poeticreject can you explain what this song means please???

  • @mulholland1985

Yeah, my interpretation is that he is in love with a prostitute, he is Bob Dylan in this song, so he holds stature, but he still doesnt care, he is willing to turn a blind eye to it, hence "blood in my eyes" the reason I say prostitute is because of the lyrics "going to get the girl that money will buy" , "break this date" "give my money back" you whore you jiped me" kidding about the last one, but you get my meaning. love blinds actions, is the underlying messege

  • @mulholland1985 its about a guy whos very angry with his partner..male or female

  • @mulholland1985 my interpretation is that he's very lonely and willing to pay a price to get away from that loneliness for a while. Even if that means a prostitute. He needs love even if he has to pay for it.

  • @poeticreject tell it to my friend.. he believes axl rose is the one

  • @AaronBuzzer

everybody has that one artist that just captivates them, axel rose is good, a great singer and performer, but he isnt that original, if it werent for bob dylan and paul mcartney he would be short many songs. but its all in the connection that a person feels with that artist, Bob Dylan is so broad in feel, that many can relate to him, and for the few that relate to everything he's done, to them, bob becomes an addiction

  • @poeticreject you're right, the thing is that in our band, guitar and singer are Axl's fans and myself singing drumer i'm a Bob's fan i dig Axl but they don't respect Dylan at all and it tears me down really

  • @AaronBuzzer

cant respect what you dont understand, Bob Dylan is a mystic, to some he is almost god, to others he is an unsolvable puzzle. try telling them, teach them of what he did and what he stands for, if then they still dont understand, then he will forever be beyond them, be grateful you do get him, not everyone does, many cant, because they are blind to what music should be

  • @poeticreject hey what about Todd Haynes's film "I'm Not There" sopose you've seen it. could you kindly tell me please what period of Bob's life Richard Gere represents and it's significance?

  • @AaronBuzzer

to be honest I hated "Im not there" people cant categorize dylan, he was ever changing. but Gere represented the comical outlaw in dylan, like billy the kid, the playful protester, that even though in youth, he still stood for something. to me Heath Ledger was the only one that came close to doing him justice. It still wasnt the best dylan film, the top two are "no direction home" and "dont look back" the third best is "dylan at the newport folk festival"

  • @poeticreject then there's "eat the document" and "renaldo & clara". when i was 16 i didn't know a shit, yer grate

  • @AaronBuzzer

    thankyou. Bobs my hero

  • @poeticreject i got 31 dylan radio shows 'd ya know if the 69 other shows are available in cd?

  • @AaronBuzzer

I really dont know, most of my dylan is on LP albums and ipod, but they should be available

  • @poeticreject theme time radio hour is coooooool i love it, must find more programs

  • @AaronBuzzer

eat the document actually was pretty powerful, that one is actually probably number three

  • @poeticreject i read when bob heard a demo of the doors Moonlight Drive he immediately told columbia to engage them, it didn't come up but there was the attempt. Morrison adored "John Wesley Harding" one of my fabs.

  • @AaronBuzzer

I think Harding is brilliant, misfortune, is in my top twenty favorite novels

  • @poeticreject there is no explaination. He's a gift from God. Going to see him in person next week. I don't care what his voice sounds like. I just want to sit in his presence.

  • @poeticreject Yes! He is perfecto.

  • @poeticreject Couldn't agree more buddy.

  • @poeticreject He is my favorite song and dance man.

  • @wistoncap

    ha, well said

  • @poeticreject I wish I could take credit but its what Bob said of himself when some questioner was trying to blow him up into some kind of troubadillio he said.. "Im just a song and dance man" .

  • @wistoncap

oh I know, I've seen the press conference. I was enjoying your quote

  • @poeticreject Dylan is amazing, but it would be difficult to go against Beethoven, Michelangelo, and Shakespeare.

  • @iglinari

Shakespeare stole his greatest works from a fifteen year old girl, Beethovens lover wrote his later works, he just composed from piano, and copied previous composers melodies. and Michelangelo did one great thing..Sistine Chapel...Bob can paint too

  • Still Love You

    Blood shot eyes

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE YOU

I have lived a life of a thousand whys

    And I still love you

A life of a thound lies

    And I still Love you

    M. S. Morrison

  • Stunning album.

  • I've just noticed how much Bob Dylan and Vincent Furnier look alike.. If you don't know who that is then I'm sure you'd recognize him from his mainstream name it's "Alice Copper."

  • ES UN POSHCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool title, its about weed, sounds a bit like Corrina Corrina...

  • mr bob dylan the legend

  • ssmith oh dear You should take a job on the end of a pier telling fortunes you happen to know that none of us knows why we like Bob Dylan. I think even you must like this song by now you must be listening to it night and day. Chris Cornell sorry mate you must be a beano reader!

  • it seems that right in the beginning of the 90's Bob found his image you know... the image that he wants to pass on. in the 80's he seemed a bit lost, but know he truly found himself, and all that mist around him that makes him a legend, if you see him live you'll know what i mean

  • This is so pure. Pull on those heart strings!

  • I simply love this footage and the song appears to be about how someone loves another person so much that they might weep til their eyes bleed. Black and white film beats colour hands down!!

  • It's so good Bob made this Vid clip. Black and white film. I would thin it's the nicest filming of him compared to any other clip. It has a nice nostalgic and comfortable feel about it - even though he has "blood in his eyes". Doubt we will see anything like this again from him?

  • me encanta este video en ingles parece que uno le llega al corazon

  • Can't sing, guitar is simple and boring, Bob Dylan is overrated crap. Poet?!! He repeats the same damn lyrics over and over. I don't get how he is not criticized even more. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the Dylan mob considers you unenlightened if you do so. Well I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bob Dylan's music sucks!! It plain sucks!

  • @ssmith5342 You're fully entitled to your opinion however, Dylan did not write this song so it's hardly fair to criticise his lyric writing skills based on this song.

  • @ssmith5342 yes it seems you know a lot about music, why dont you tell the beatles, bruce springsteen, neil young and all the indie rock folks around that bob's music sucks

  • @MarianoJRibeiro Actually I do know a lot about music. And that is why I am on a campaign to bash Dylan and other shitty folk/indie "rockers" who are polluting the air waves with their so-called "music." The Beatles aren't gods but some of their songs are alright. Springsteen...meh. Neil Young blows, perhaps even worse than Dylan. I gather that by your standard if something is popular and sells a lot it constitutes quality music. You must be one of Justin Bieber's biggest fans then.

  • @ssmith5342 Oh dear you know about music!! Music my friend covers a wide spectrum. technical ability can often hinder interpretation ie The Beatles would come out on top doing their own music if pitted against The London Symphony Orchestra. Music is about emotions and feeling something you appear to lack. Music is also about conveying a message by lyrics i challenge yopu to name a better lyric writer than Mr Bob Dylan. Now as far as the argument goes i think thats check mate MATE

  • @mikprint That's precisely the problem with you Dylan fans. You are overconfident that Dylan is the best thing sliced bread, but you have no idea why, nor have you bothered to sample the broad range of musical styles out there. You are stuck in the 60s, for you the Vietnam War is still being fought. Music is not just lyrics. It is lyrics plus musical quality. Dylan whines his lyrics at people. A much better lyricist is Chris Cornell from Soundgarden. He can actually sing, and write.

  • @ssmith5342 You're yet to comprehend the subjectivity of musical taste. You've also yet to understand the true purpose to music. Expression. You compared Dylan to Chris Cornell (wasn't one of his recent solo songs a collaboration with Justin Timberlake? haha) as if it's a singing competition.

It's not about "people liking bad music" it's about two people having entirely different perspectives on what people means. Arrogance won't get you anywhere in life, trust me...I've been in your position.

  • @TheEnlightenedTruth No, it was Timbaland, but I'm talking about Cornell's earlier work with Soundgarden. Another problem with Dylan fans, they think music is all about expression. Ha! Music is also talent to sing and play instruments, and do it well. Dylan is mockery to true music. He is some chump who waltzes in with simple chords and whiny singing, as if the guy has never practiced singing or much of the guitar in his life.

  • @ssmith5342 Dylan plays guitar quite well also piano organ and mouth-organ his songs are in all manor of keys for example I'll Remember You is D Flat Major (5 flats) Knocking on HD in G Major Corrina Corrina E Major All along The Watchtower A Minor Gates of Eden D Major In The Garden B Major etc some of his music is very complex.Try listening to Modern Times album you might be converted I used to say a lot of what you now are saying I now know I was talking bullshit the same as you are now!

  • @mikprint Another problem with Bob Dylan fans. They think Bob Dylan is a god and simply can't understand how it is humanly possible for someone to not like Bob Dylan. But they are at a loss to explain why he is good. Complex chord progressions? Hardly. Soundgarden did songs that were in 5/4 tempo. I actually listened to part of that album you suggested. Snooze! Name me one song where Dylan actually delivers on the vocals. Zero. The guy can't sing; worse, he is proud of it too.

  • @ssmith5342 If you want technical brilliance your in the wrong place. Rock music is about the "feel" not technical triumphs. Dylan has bucket loads of "feel". Thats why Dylan is one of the top 10 performers of all time. Even with a croaky old voice he can run rings around - um what band was it? soundgarden? Are you seriously going to compare one of the biggest selling artists of all time to soundgarden? Wow, you must like them alot. Whats next, Joe Satriani is better than the Beatles?

  • @tblaxxable Whoa, technical brilliance has no place in rock? Tell that to the trash guitarists and high range singers of the great rock bands of our time. No, you're thinking of FOLK music, which has become country music. That is why folk music pales in comparison to real rock music, no technical element. If you think sales equal quality, you must be a huge Justin Bieber fan. Run rings around Soundgarden? Ha! Dylan hasn't the range or tone in his voice to cover a Soundgarden song. Dylan blows

  • @ssmith5342 5/4 never heard of such a time signature you sure you know anything about music . Thunder on The Mountain, Someday Baby, The Levee's Gonna Break ,Working Man Blues. Your turn what is the 5/4 tune?

  • @mikprint Wow, you've proven YOU know nothing about music. You pull some random songs out of your ass and suggest that they are 5/4 time signature? Uh I listened to Thunder on the Mountain and the Levee's Gonna Break. Those are 4/4 simplistic cliche rehashed blues riffs. And this is your music god?? Pshaw! Listen to My Wave by Soundgarden, that is a real 5/4 song. Also try Spoonman, that one has a 7/4 tempo. This is real creativity, that still maintains a pop vibe. Dylan is a has-been.

  • @ssmith5342 You have a rather bad habit of never answering the questions thrown at you.5/4 time sig there is no 5/4 .try listening to Dylans got You on My Mind and tell me he can't sing.

  • @mikprint No 5/4??? What are you talking about? You haven't studied music, you're just talking shit. The bottom part of the time signature simply indicates the note value which makes up the beat. So 5 quarter notes in a measure. How does that not exist, esp
