PS As much as I love Red Dwarf, and as much as I'm sure those performers are entirely good people, supporting a cause as completely non-controversial as this one makes them come across as a bit weak.

Parts of it are a bit contrived, but amazingly, they were still able to keep it funny. My favorite parts are where Lister thinks the guy on the screen is named Tel, and at the end where Rimmer goes to break Lister's guitar.

This was filmed after series 7, but before series 8. The set is mostly the same as the Blue Midget set from series 8.

I doubt continuity was much to consider in this. If anything it just showed how vital Rimmer was to the series.
