I've been modeling most of my music around the sounds Kristian Matsson masterfully creates. What he does is amazing. I actually just made music video for a song with a similar theme.
If any of you have a moment, I'd be interested to hear what others think of my music. I have the music video on my channel. Let me know what you think!
@FabianBajorat I don't think it's worth hit to compare them all. Van Morrison and Tallest Man on Earth are my two favorite artists, and for good reason. The only thing I can say is that they're poets that happen to play the guitar.
If you ever have the chance to see him live, I guarantee it will be one of the most moving shows you will ever go to. Take advantage if he comes to a venue near you!
Great work! I could really use some tips on video recording on a budget. (recording guitar and vocals just like this) Budget HD Camera choices, mic / sound tips, video editing software, etc... Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
Kristian Matsson`s songs and performances are extraordinarily wonderful and this video really does him justice. Congratulations and thanks for making it. Looks cold up on that roof tho`!
@hoovesontheturf Were you using the onboard camera mic no? Or was that a mic you had stuffed in your pocket I saw? Sound quality is great - the sound of the traffic and the wind on the roof adds a nice ambience.
@hoovesontheturf ... hey Sarahana, beautiful video! Just wondering if you used the 24F setting on the Canon XH A1 for this? For a video shot with a handheld digital camera there's a very professional 'film' feel to it. Was a lighting director used at all, or just some artful post production?
yeah i agree, i think its in the basement/staircase that they recorded it in. it makes a nice echo/reverbish kinda sound (i dont know the technical name for it... but i do know i like it! )
I was kinfa speaking of newer artists young and part of this generation haha. But if Van is fair game. The Best is Bob Dylan. Kills everyone.
