I see you have a Proline 2" combo, I was considering buying one becuase a 2.5" dredge may use to much water (200gal+). The creek I'm going to has very little water, does the 2" combo work well in a limited supply of water? It seems your jaming up pretty bad, how easy is it to plug? any info would be good
@SmilyGoldy It depends on the rock shapes and size on just how much it jams on you. I have used this combo to dredged in areas that have small flat rocks ( just big enough to fit into the hose) and they jam a lot. The larger the size of the hose the less jams you will have but I chose the 2" combo due to the weight. If you have to carry it far it gets heavy. The small pump 2.5HP works very well. This combo has great suction.
Not sure where you plan on using yours, but in Indiana here most the gold is fine and very small flakes and the Proline does a good job capturing it. I have read different ways of setting it up and am still tweeking it for the best results. I have a friend that just bought a 2 1/2" Keene combo and it uses the same motor size. He does end up with more black sand but not more gold than I get. If you have low water you need to get a hole for the water pickup or maybe recycle water?
nice video looks like the dredge works well. just a suggestion, would be nice to see the gold production at the end unless u didnt find anything that is big enough to be collected. good vid tho

@5King5James5 We did find gold, but it was so fine that it didn't show on my video camera very well. Thanks!
