Although it is still work in progress, for the curious I have uploaded an alpha (test) version of my Farfisa Mini Compact simulation called "Combo Model F":
Why talk about real organs while the point is that this virtual version is a really good copy! And free too! And it looks good! Can't wait to hear the Farfisa..
just happen to know where the tow n is where Vintage vibe is located --it's not close to me-- about an hour or so---there are no techs around my area any more---!!---
Native instrustments B4 software has a Vox continental in it __Saw someone using it on Youtube --sounds pretty good---Carrying a Single manuel around isn't too bad--But a Super Contintal is Heavy------------!!!--You need a Vox AC 30 to play it through----
@crazypainter56 I have B4 (and B4-II). Indeed B4's Vox isn't bad, but IMHO it isn't great either. Which perhaps isn't that surprising, considering the B4 is a Hammond simulation.
Well they all need work ---- espcially the English version--When they are in great shape-the sound can't be beat--Had a Jaguar-- it fell apart --I was the 2nd owner--I had to prop up the key bed to play it and you see people asking big bucks for a Jaguar on E-Bay-----------Got a Farfisa Compact-- outside is great --inside mice were inside --it was in a cellar --
@crazypainter56 Ah damn, people ask for a damn near fortune for those Jaguars nowadays, I paid 230 bucks from mine from the Goodwill's website, paid 270 to fix it, but still a good deal in the end... Whats wrong witht he English Connie? And BTW, my Farfisa's white tabs mostly don't work, a few do, but most don't, and it was kept in a carport, so its filled with leaves, dead lizards, and rat shit....
@RayManzarekGod =-Well the english one has had the daylights played out of it--Keys are wooden --real clunky --needs new-Bushings and the Vibrato is screwed up --when you turn it on you hear a thumping noise----
@crazypainter56 Ah that sucks... I've never heard of the bushings needing to be replaced on a wooden key... I've heard Jag's that need replacing and they are louder than the actual organ over the camera sometimes! And thats a real odd problem with the vibrato... Hey, if you wanna get rid of it... I'll give you a mint Vox Jaguar for it ;)
@RayManzarekGod@RayManzarekGod -----Oh NO------LOL------ I searched long and hard for one --I'm gonna fix it--They --Vintage vibe------------ quoted me $600 and up to fix it----
@crazypainter56 I totally understand! Haha... I hope you get it fixed! ALTHOUGH, I WILL warn you... Vintage Vibe I've been told is very VERY overpriced and does terrible work on their items, I've been told by a semi-famous tech (Worked on John Mayer's Wurlitzer right before a concert once) that they actually do more harm than good to the instruments... If you want I can give you the info of the tech in PA.
@RayManzarekGod-------------- Well according to their website[V V] they do really good work and that's the only thing I have heard--It's really hard to find someone to fix these organs and do a good job at a fair price--I had a Gibson combo organ and the tuners kept on going out after only a month--I got tired of getting it fixed and sold it-and I laugh when I see one on E- bay selling for big bucks--
@crazypainter56 Ah that sucks about your G101... I was going to trade my Fender Rhodes Stage model for a Gibson G101, but the guy wanted me to drive 18 hours to him and that was just too much for me... Also, if vintage vibe seems like a good choice, I won't go against you... It took me 2 months to find a Vox repairman in my area, and it took him 3 months to fix the darn thing!
There are no emulations of a farfisa ANYWHERE on the planet. Theres samples, sections ie VB3 and BII, but no dedicated Farfisa emu's at all.
Given the quality you've given us in the Model V, being a Floyd man I'll look forward to your Farfisa more than any other plugin. No pressure of course...haha.
@TaleTN, What program are you running this off?

Very nice especially for free.
Also out on the Mac which makes this double great.
Wonder why its free?
If Martinic is reading this then how about an emulation of the Farfisa Compact Duo?
Release a Farfisa and you've a sale ready and waiting though a donation for this is already in the post,no doubt.
Cheers.

@imperialpod: A Farfisa Mini Compact is in the making, although it will probably a while before it will be available.
