Hahaha... wait, let's be real here. Rick Astley was already huge in the Philippines kaya kumakanta si Dick ng songs nya. It was Dick who got a boost in his career by doing those song numbers. To those who weren't aware (i.e. too young) at the time, there was no way you can avoid seeing Dick somewhere on TV singing Rick Astley songs.
