I saw Blossom at Danny's three times. She never lost her gift, up until the very end. Her piano playing was still as perfect and odd, and her delivery of a lyric was always as masterful. Even the non sequiturs between songs got better over the years, more mysterious and hilarious. A total artist. Rest her soul.

We saw her at Danny's too around this time.Even with the advanced age, she hadn't lost a lick. One of the best shows of my life.
