This is the presidential candidate I'm interested in. I'm a common sense independent. Belonging to any party to me is like joining a gang. One thing that raised my antenna is Thompson's to serve and then get out of politics position. My view the reason we have such a divide in this country can be laid at the feet of carrier political hacks. I think all politicians are phoney at least on a certain level (they have to be if they want any chance of getting elected). However, some are far less phoney than others. I'm not sure about Fred yet. I'm impressed, and yet I feel a little empty. So far so good, but he needs to come up with some ideas on how to specifically deal with some of these issues.
