@mrvetchu Hey, I almost completely forgot about this old gem :-p. Unfortunately it has been raped by the many updates to wire and gmod; It still functions but doesn't turn nearly as well as it used to and all the thrusters have sound enabled on them.

I did start re-building it from scratch a while back - I may take another look at that because I know how epic I could make it now.

If I rebuild it, I may release the frame so you can build your own engines etc and stick them on.

distance between the engines should be slightly larger, otherwise beautiful design =D

dude this IS IMPRESSIVE. Im working on one now. Did the models come premade or did u form them and what did you use to make it float? i just super iced it cuz i dont like hoverballs

All standard props, 3 invisible phx plates which are constrainted 2gether, and uses thrusters 2 hover, if you want info on this check the 2nd link in the description and look down the bottom of the thread

thanks that helps alot! tho i am not that expiercened so its a little over my head. the one thing i want to know is expressions. ive seen them alot before and had no idea.  are they just the order of wire componenets?

Yeah kind of, if you look at it like that, you are just combining the gates into the expression. It is actually just writing ~ C+ code into gmod, learn it, iti is very useful and unlocks a whole load of doors

The map is Gm_buttes

afaik uses phx + vanilla

learn how to use the ad dupe before commenting here, I'm pretty sure I made it clear in the thread that it has a massive amount of props and will crash you if you even think about leaving the map with no-clip

I'm sorry, I won't be releasing a dupe, I spent too much time on this just 2 release it, it took me weeks to design and develop the system behind the pods, it is quite complicated. There is though a tutorial on how to do it on the faceounch pod racer comp thread, and I also released the track (finished version). Thanks for the comments guys
