  • Mark Smart played the melodies on the left Tesla coil, controlling it from Lippold Haken's Continuum Fingerboard.

    The right Tesla coil was being driven by a MIDI sequence. On the audio backing tracks (which are not very audible above the coils!) Mark played guitar and keyboards and Mike Novak played drums. The Tesla coils were built by Steve Ward and Jeff Larson, and Steve built the box that allows the Tesla coils to be driven by MIDI.
