My Tribute to Stafree , My Shetland sheepdog.

i love shelties my old sheltie died 7 years ago i still miss him and always will rip harry my current sheltie is 15 and im dreading the day when i will have to have him put to sleep :(

i miss my sheltie lady. i remeber going to the breeder i was told let the dog pick you. this female sheltie came walking up to me she had a lil sable color spot in the center of her white stripe on her head. every now and then i think of her she was my best friend. i shed a few tear the day i had to put down. if i ever get to a point where i can properly take care of i will get anther one.

I feel for you. I don't know what I will do when my Nakia leaves me finally. I've had her since 7 wks. old and she will be 15 this March 2011. She is still so lively, but doesn't get around as well, hear or see as well, arthritis. I love her so much and now days when I see her sleeping so much I have to double check her... just to make sure all is ok. Scares me so much.

I am crying the loss of my sheltie "sultan"

he passed away two days ago, he was a very loving pet, almost human if not better, he was always loyal. Shelties are wonderful!!!! RIP SULTAN WE WILL MISS U.

Rest in Peace Stafree. I still have my very first dog and she's getting very old. I'm so sad because I know her time will come very soon. I lost my Beagle, Rosie, when she was hit by a truck while we were at the beach, and she was being walked by our vet. I will always miss and love her. <3333 My prayers are with you...

Oh, he was a beautiful boy! I lost my sheltie Fancy about 2 years ago. She was also 12 years old. I miss her so much! I'm so sorry for your loss. We'll see our babies again someday...heaven wouldn't be heaven without our dogs, so I know they're there waiting for us.

Hi, i am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my best friends in March 25.2007 after 13 years. The pain is deep and the tears are there everyday. When you said goodnight good boy, it reminded me, it is what I used to say everynight before I put him to bed. Good Night. Sweet Dreams. Sleep Tight. I love you. Kiss him. And I believe our boys are playing together and we will meet again, it is the one thing that keeps me going. Keep strong.

i know what you are going through i had two shelties one died at 12 and the other 10 pined so much for him he died 5 months later very clever affectionate little dogs i still have ther ashes with me in lovely boxes

Sorry for you loss. Stafree was obviously a good dog! I have two. Teddy was born in July of 94 and Robin was born in July of 96. I look at them daily and tell them what good dogs they are because I know their time is short. They have been good little ministers for me.

I know your pain. I have a Shelty myself.  When the day comes for him to cross "Rainbow Bridge" I know it will leave a huge void in my life. It's a shame these dogs don't have longer life spans.

Lovely video and sheltie. I live in Shetland and we have had 2 shelties from shetland in the past but they passed away but we got another one whos on youtube called Mystery. All our Shetland Sheepdogs have been sables but love the breed. Are you going to get another Sheltie? thankyou Amanda

HI Amanda, Out of respect i cant.Not this time around,its too painful. Sheltie's are amazing breed. We had no idea what we where getting ourself into when we picked him as he is a rare breed here in malaysia .Like i said, not one day we do not give thanks for picking him up.

I know exactly what you're going through. I lost my collie nearly 5 years ago and still feel the pain. Stafree looked like she was very happy and had a great home. That is one thing you can be proud of yourself for. See my attached video (lewco77).

my sheltie, tugger, just died on the 2nd too. that's weird, but i love ur video and i love tri shelties too...mine was sable. also, howie day is pretty good. i hope our dogs can be buddies in heaven.
