We don't have "private school league"He went to St.Mary's High School Which plays in the 5a league. Its the highest in the state. And he averaged 35 points a game. I know because that was my freshman year and we had to watch him play after our games. BUT it's pretty clear Derrick Rose is the better player. MVP compared to a 6th man. BUT once he gets significant P.T . He'll be an All-Star one day

Kobe wasn't the gauranteed starter for the first two years of his career. Starting is based on the coaching staff, player chemistry and the direction the team would like to go in that season. Not how good a player is. Chauncey Billups got traded about 4 or 5 times before he found a team that worked for him. The only reason Bayless didn't start is because he would've taken the ball out of Roy's hands. Bayless could've easily average 18 and 5 on a lower tier team such as the Grizz or Bucks.

On every night in H.S., College and in the NBA D-Rose has always looked under control, fluid and simply looks (AT TIMES) like the best player on the floor. Bayless, simply looks like an undersize PG that is fast and makes a flashy play or acrobatic finish on "occasions". And sometimes his game looks "UGLY" and out of control. He is a good player...But anybody who knows hoops...could immediately see as a Junior in H.S. that D-Rose was destine for NBA Stardom. Wish he had more Personality though!
I totally disagree that Bayless is more athletic than Rose. Rose is just a better player than Bayless is in almost every facet of the game except for shooting, and Rose is definitely proficient in that area too. Ok...I'm trying to be nice because unlike you (I'm assuming) I live in the Chicago area and have probably seen 40-50 Bulls games this year.
First you said that Kirk recently played 46 minutes. That's true. I watched that game it was against Detroit. If you watched the game, you would have noticed that was the 1st and only game Rose missed all year, hence Hinrich started at PG. Not to mention that only 6 players played more than 5 minutes that game on the Bulls roster.

Rose wasn't blessed with a good situation. Hinrich was one of the faces of this team. It was harder to replace him than Steve Blake. Also Kirk never moved over to the 2 spot, he just became the backup PG.

Anyway, I'm not debating that Kirk Hinrich won't occassionally move to the 2 if he happens to be in the game alongside Rose (Just as last year when he played SG when Duhon was in the game with him). I'm arguing that its a misrepresentation that having Rose has "allowed Hinrich to move to the 2 spot".
When a player has started in exactly 96.7% (since you wanted stats) of the games he played throughout his first years, then suddenly only gets two starts in 08-09 (due to injury), that means he has been moved to the bench.
If Rose allowed Hinrich to move to the 2, then it would be reasonable to assume that Hinrich wouldn't experience a drastic dropoff in minutes because the coach should compensate this by moving him between the 1 and the 2 to keep Kirk on the floor.
If you look at the numbers, Kirk is playing 10 minutes less a game than what he normally averaged. That's a drastic decline in minutes. A number indicative of the fact that he's been moved to the bench, not "allowed to move to the 2".
I still stand by my initial claim, if Rose had been drafted by Portland, they would be know way he would be limited to 13 MPG by Steve Blake and Sergio Rodridguez. This is because Rose is a pure PG and can be left, even as a rookie, to run the offense.

I like bayless, but he plays for a stacked portland squad full of young players. no chemistry and bayless cant develop confidence with so little playing time. However, I really like D.Rose.

Kobe wasn't the gauranteed starter for the first two years of his career. Starting is based on the coaching staff, player chemistry and the direction the team would like to go in that season. Not how good a player is. Chauncey Billups got traded about 4 or 5 times before he found a team that worked for him. The only reason Bayless didn't start is because he would've taken the ball out of Roy's hands. Bayless could've easily average 18 and 5 on a lower tier team such as the Grizz or Bucks.

bayless could put up rose's numbers with ease if he got a chance. he just got traded onto a team that was loaded at the position he is at. but look at how bayless played when steve blake got hurt for a while, his numbers were similar to rose's but with less assists since hes not a true point.

On every night in H.S., College and in the NBA D-Rose has always looked under control, fluid and simply looks (AT TIMES) like the best player on the floor. Bayless, simply looks like an undersize PG that is fast and makes a flashy play or acrobatic finish on "occasions". And sometimes his game looks "UGLY" and out of control. He is a good player...But anybody who knows hoops...could immediately see as a Junior in H.S. that D-Rose was destine for NBA Stardom. Wish he had more Personality though!

I totally disagree that Bayless is more athletic than Rose. Rose is just a better player than Bayless is in almost every facet of the game except for shooting, and Rose is definitely proficient in that area too. Bayless is a really good ball player that should have a pretty bright future, but Rose is special.

2) You say that Rose and Hinrich spend a majority of their time on the floor together because Hinrich averages 26 minutes a game. Your right again, this proves that Kirk has moved to the 2. BUT WAIT, Ben Gordon averages 36.3 minutes a game? That's only 0.4 less than Rose. Wouldn't this imply that Gordon is obviously the 2? Kirk is a backup up. Hence he is only 7th average in minutes among their active players. With an 8 man rotation, he has to split his time as a 2 because they only use 3 guards

First you said that Kirk recently played 46 minutes. That's true. I watched that game it was against Detroit. If you watched the game, you would have noticed that was the 1st and only game Rose missed all year, hence Hinrich started at PG. Not to mention that only 6 players played more than 5 minutes that game on the Bulls roster.

I'm not saying that Jerryd is better that Rose. I'm saying that there are things each player does better. Jerryd is a killer scorer, that's about it. Derrick passes, scores, runs the floor and more but he got put in a good situation. By getting derrick rose, it allowed kirk hinrich to move over to the 2 spot. In which he's a better scorer. He is a 45% shooter. Put him at the 2 put derrick who is a 32% and it fits PERFECT. Jerryd didn't get that blessed. Steve blake is a serious vet.

Rose wasn't blessed with a good situation. Hinrich was one of the faces of this team. It was harder to replace him than Steve Blake. Also Kirk never moved over to the 2 spot, he just became the backup PG.
If Rose had been drafted my the Blazers, he would be starting by now. Maybe the real reason Bayless is getting PT is because he is not a pure point guard. He has a scorer's mentality. You mention that he was scoring good with PT, but was he being a floor general. PG is much more than scorign

When a player has started in exactly 96.7% (since you wanted stats) of the games he played throughout his first years, then suddenly only gets two starts in 08-09 (due to injury), that means he has been moved to the bench.
If Rose allowed Hinrich to move to the 2, then it would be reasonable to assume that Hinrich wouldn't experience a drastic dropoff in minutes because the coach should compensate this by moving him between the 1 and the 2 to keep Kirk on the floor.

If you look at the numbers, Kirk is playing 10 minutes less a game than what he normally averaged. That's a drastic decline in minutes. A number indicative of the fact that he's been moved to the bench, not "allowed to move to the 2".
I still stand by my initial claim, if Rose had been drafted by Portland, they would be know way he would be limited to 13 MPG by Steve Blake and Sergio Rodridguez. This is because Rose is a pure PG and can be left, even as a rookie, to run the offense.

If Bayless is really 6'3", dats sad. Nothing but layups, even when he was alone on some of the fast breaks. Rose is definitely better, although he doesn't have that scoring mentality. He's quicker than Bayless, and Bayless is too small to be dominant in the nba, he doesn't have the quickness to be dominant at that size. Rose is definitely gonna have a better career. CHeck out the other Bayless vid, he is as good if not a better dunker than Rose... and Bayless has extremely good size for a PG, above average size. He is finally gettin' PT now, and in the last 10 games gettin' only about 22 minutes a game he is getting 11points, 3 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game in his first action of the year, and he is only gettin' better... His last 2 games have been 19 and 6 and then 14, 4 and 4. But he won't be as good as Rose who will be great, but Bayless is sick.

Its called "The best of Jerryd Bayless". Bayless is going to be phenominal, he is Monta Ellis w/ much better defense and more ability to play PG... extremely similar to Rodney Stuckey and JUST TURNED 20! Him and Brandon Roy will def. be the best backcourt in the NBA in a couple years in my mind.

but bayless can score at will hes jus not gettin the minutes he deserves becuz the fuckin trail blazers have like all guards
