  • I love how Keith would sing the simple songs that are so powerful.

  • Two years after Keith died suddenly my father died suddenly... and then one relative about every three years I am now pretty much alone. Keiths music has gotten me thorugh it all when ever I am in morning or need to be reminded of the need for connection to god I listen to keiths music.

  • Thank you for this song. This reminds me of God's enduring mercy and grace. :-)

  • jusus west coast 79...... and i was baptized and blessed to see and hear Keith.. this is so memorable ,,, i sing it under my breath all the time... it is m y prayer.

  • Yes, Keith was awesome and that's probably why God took him so soon....so young. Let's not miss the point....It's easy to praise God when things are good....but, man, it's so hard to praise God the same way when things get tough...and man, it's so hard to love others when they're not perfect, like God is.....

  • @SkiBluFlowers God did not take him. The Word states that "my people perish for a lack of knowledge". The aircraft was overweight and crashed as the result. Keith's work was not complete. But I do get your point.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER GOD is control, the sun is maintained by Him, the moon by its orbit... All things are controled by Him.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER I guess I was kind of hoping God took him like he did Enoch & Elijah.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER So God hopelessly despairs as people die who He is not done with?

  • @HOOSIERLOVER I do not believe that is why he died, nor do I believe that the scripture you quoted meant that. I believe the scripture you are refrencing here is we lack the knowledge of Christ and we do not abide by His will. All things work for good.

  • The more things change, the more they stay the same. I'm in my 20s and was only recently introduced to Keith Green, and like all good Christians, his music applies across the years.

  • I don't know if this a appropriate for me to say, but I am going to the Glenn Beck Restoring Honor Rally, and I just felt drawn toward these old songs that I love so much. I am sitting here crying, thinking of how far our country has fallen from God. This song makes me think of Washington.

Please pray for our government officials and for the Rally.

  • @bookhound63 i pray to for our nation. thanks for going when we all can't.

  • Oh another one. You know, after following the Lord for a while, seeking him desperately, being aware of our sin, it is easy to want to give up, or to feel broken down and if the gift of God's love is impossible to attain. But by the grace of God, by being honest with Him in prayer, there is always the hope of salvation. And for this I give Him praise. Praise you God! Bless your name. May You be magnified in and through us, the ONE TRUE and FAITHFUL GOD! AMEN.

  • my God, what an awesome song

  • How I can identify wih this song! The seasons and valleys of being hungry and thirsting after God intensely, followed by spiritual dryness and emptiness. And yet God is indeed still very much working in our lives to bring us to completion in Christ Jesus- Thank you Lord for your goodness. Praise you Lord.

  • He was the real deal.

  • I have been a christian most of my life and have had the pleasure of many wonderful people who blessed me with their music...then I happened upon this guy. Truly anointed and words of life to me. Thank You Jesus.

  • Wow, how old is this? Nice! Way to go Keith!

  • if you had ten most beautiful songs,,this would be there, with songs like o, holy night, sukiyaki, america the beautiful, an a few others, im so glad jesus set me free....

  • Totally AMEN sister! Beautiful song. Even though in theis recording, they faded out way too long and to soon. Just like Keith Green. I am fortunate enough to have met and prayed with him when I was 14. I truly saw Jesus that night. He waited and prayed with everyone who wanted to pray with him. A great man of God. I guess God wanted him more...

  • Beautiful and humbling! Thanks so much for posting!

  • Incredibly beautiful song! No matter what our sin, God will forgive us if we come to the Cross and seek his forgiveness! Check out another beautiful YouTube song/video, "Fearfully And Wonderfully Made - Voice Of The Children" as recorded by 7 year old Sharon Morgan, grandaughter of the late Dr. Walter Martin. Another powerful reminder of God's amazing love for his children and how he will forgive those who are his.
