Keep on rockin out and spending time with this gear bro....don't listen to these fuckin haters....let their wack ass comments be nothing but fuel for your progress....enjoy
To all you haters out there: Talk to a therapist. It helps. In the meanwhile, how about not letting all your pent-up anger and bitterness spill all over a guy who posts a video? Give me brak, already! What's up with all this bitch!ng? Seriously, guys, such frequent outbursts of unnecessary rage can be taxing for your heart, empathy, creativity and intellectual abilities. Please, for the sake of your health, your families and all potential future victims of your ill behavior: Chill out.
dude, i think there are alot of jealous people commenting on this page due to how much awesome gear you have and how little they may have. I like you have a load of gear and find that the best way to learn is to experience a total colossus of machines and man experimenting within this musical orgy. Their is something in your sound that is right and this is all that matters, now its just further experimenting and self discovery until the story unfolds.
Not bad... a suggestion I will make is - cut down the amount of gear you have until you have mastered a few basic pieces, then add extra stuff slowly..
its alright - not to bad at all - i can here a few extra layers that are not there yet and a bit more practice .... some nice sounds though and i like the hook synth just layer it up a little more some panning sweeps....
Its obvious that you need to practice more. some interesting sounds and combinations. all you need to do now is sit down with someone who will be honest with their comments and listen to them. minimum of 3 people. don't get upset, take it on board, go away and do it all again. Great wines take a long time to mature before they become fine wines.
and you have obviously no idea of what is involved in the making of electronic music, or how much money this idiot blew on gear that is going to waste. But thank you for your very insightful comment nonetheless, maybe you should go to I tunes and buy this dude's latest album, it will be right up your alley, lol. Nerdrage ftw.
and you are obviously less than 13 years old thinking that you can measure the amount of knowledge someone has in a certain field over a 3 sentence youtube comment you stupid goofy bastard. i bet you're still dicking around on fruity loops.
And how old must you be to insult random people on the internet. I'm having fun making you angry. Keep the insults going, it shows a great amount of maturity, and makes me laugh :) I actually play weekly in London UK in clubs, using quite a few pieces of hardware, I rarely touch software, it sounds flat and not tight enough for my taste. Oh, and I sync my gear. Crazy, I know! I have all the right to be critical about videos like this, whether you like it or not :)
could care less if you spin 70's olivia newton john-esque aerobic-quasi-disco bullshit at your local old folks home, theres thousands of people doing the same thing you are, making the same sounds you are, and staying nobodies commenting on message boards just like you. you're high horse is the shortest of height in the room so you've already lost, haha, deal with it.
@theyearofourlordig88 Wow, lots of assumptions and anger coming from you. Maybe you should seek therapy? Find a way to release all that frustration somewhere else than on the internet? I just had a gig last night, packed room, MachineDrum, Evolver, Waldorf XT, and believe me, it was no old folks home. It was quite slamming indeed. I'm also willing to bet you have at least 4 tracks of mine on your comp right now. I'm condescending because I can. You, however, are just a lemming.
@theyearofourlordig88 rofl, once again, assumptions. You don't know who I am when I'm not on this site denouncing hacks and wankers. You assume my music is shitty, yet have never heard it. It speaks volumes about your intellectual acuity, and I will stop with you now, you're making yourself look like an idiot. Was fun trolling you though.
Yet another example of someone with loads of cash to blow on gear, and absolutely no idea what to do with it.
As long as you have fun, it's all good mate. Just buy a chair.
Good thing this is just a hobby for you, but, I have to say, do you know how many kids you could have saved from a starving death with all that money?
Cool... obviously not as accomplished as a sequenced MIDI track but you gots to start somewhere.
Only criticism is one of ergonomics... probably a better idea if you move the monomachine over to the other side so it's beside the filter, desk an KP... the timing wouldn't be as much of a hassle then as you wouldn't have to dive across the room. Although the diving across the room looks like fun :)
i'm convinced you know what you're doing. turn it inside out. teach your equipment to do backflips. sample that. hand select and fine tune every waveform of each patch. don't forget to shape the tone. when work ends, and you are enjoying the company of your hard earned cold one.. find a buddy rich video on the web. get lost in the magic. pull that vibe out of your back pocket two hours later. bring your machines to life and tell the new beats to make theirselves at home.
The bassline needs the most work, its a bit repetitive and flat.I'd stick that through the filterbank instead..&break it up with some interesting rhythm,a few triplets wouldn't go amiss..some interesting sounds on top though,a few more would be great(the fm voice on the mono:).The beat;i'm feeling the electroness of it,but it is a bit boom-chish-boom-chish,record it live for some groove.
Overall not bad, focus on each part to scupt it into something special and your fans will love you for it.Peace
Keep at it mate, with all that gear you will be able to produce some amazing sounds. Might be a good idea to start with 1 synth and learn it inside out - each of those synths can make a full tune on it's own without the others so try that. Then learn another and add to the mix! Keep at it... :)
You basically made a 1 minute track and beat it with an ugly stick for several minutes. The initial composition is fine but the construction and breakdown is very amateur. You have spoiled yourself with high end gear, you need to put some of it away so it doesnt overhype your creative flow. And for gods sakes USE MIDI!
I don't really believe that u have to use every piece of gear you have in every song or performance. An artist chooses from a pallet what colors to use at any giver time. Who is to say what is waste and what is overkill. not me. follow your bliss...
jesus christ man.. talk about shit going to waste!!! this is horrid, just shows that it dosent matter what equipment you have and how much of it. if you dont got an ear for music it will sound like this lol
ok so you have a good idea of the uses of sounds. it has a nice groove too. the potential to be a really decent song. now midi it all up and sync everything. and stop using the reverse effect at the end of every bar- that effect is ok once or twice in an entire song but nobody likes hearing a reverse on the master every couple of seconds.
only other thing I'd say is when you do those long filter sweeps (which sound good) you should add a new element directly after.
i'm gonna start this with, it is nice that you didn't goto Midi. But also Midi isn't the shit end of the stick by any means. I would try to incorporate some Midi up in that mix It would be excellent as a live production because the build up to 1:34 seconds where the drums fly at you is nice. I dig
i gues its kind of okey.. maybe a little "overkill" with that much gear,.. thats just not the way to use all that lovely stuff, so something more "real" would be nice to hear.. i meen, this cant be the best you'v done...
what kind of music is this mate ? how can you describe it ?, looool , craaap shitty music
