  • just make like a boyscout and be prepared? :/

  • A little detail in 1930 you wasn't an adult till you were 21.

  • How does the kitchen just explode like that?!

  • I wanna say I think the game could have been more interesting if they had made it more like the book. Like, you could have gone into another room and those two aunts and their niece from the book could have been staying there. And maybe added those two brats of Topham's. His daughters also from the book. I think it would have been more interesting :)

  • @BibleBlonde It's actually based on the first four books in the series

  • @ChlovinForever Oh really? I only read the first two.. o_o Okay.

  • @BibleBlonde I read that somewhere on HeRinteractive's message boards. So it must be true

  • If I ever meet you I will have to give you a huge hug! But since THAT'S never gonna happen -:p virtual hug!(\owo/)

  • lol, Is this one of ur first few walkthroughs? You sound so... quiet xD In SAW, you're all bursting with enthusiasm xD

    Love ur impersonation!

  • Woah, woah, woah! Hold on a sec! It's 1930? Nancy can time travel! Awesome! =D

Gosh and d things she can do...!! Its really not possble for any1 to be soo good at soo many things at such a small age....!!

  • the guy that does the voice of nancy's dad is brian regan's older brother! Brian Regan is my favorite comedian! :)

  • nancy is really old!

  • I hate her voice

  • I love that we actually finally see Nancy in her original time period! It's crazy that she would be over ninety years old in real life, nearly one hundred!

  • Ohhhh, this is from the first Nancy Drew book...I feel so stupid -_-

  • Nancy Drew is clearly a time lord 0_0

  • Ugh Thanks Mom! Ha Ha that made me laugh ;)

I also notice that at 924 the man who created Nancy Drew.

    I Love your Walkthroughs! ;)

  • this is my favorite game by far! even my older brother was playing it, and he doesnt like these games

  • Ok ok someone tell me i'm crazy, but does anyone remember the Secret of Shadow ranch, the ring that her cousin shared? i swear i've seen that same ring in like at least 2 games. 4:12 u can see it if u pause and look into the jewlry box. I also saw it somewhere in the Last train to Blue Moon Canyon. The only games i've completed r Haunted Carosel, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, and Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, So their might b mor

  • @musiclover25162 dude, you got a good eye!

  • NO! Nancy is oviously a werewolf... Remember Linda in Curse of Blackmoor Manor? They were lying! Linda really was a werewolf, and she bit Nancy, but Nancy was sworn into secrecy by the penvylyns remember? I mean, she told stuff about it to Ned, but who would tell their bf that their a werewolf? You'd probably get dumped XD

  • @xxCuppyCake215xx I KNOW RIGHT?! LOL

  • @dancer44657 some 1 is a little skeptic of ghost…

  • This game is ok

  • jane sounds like dolly parton

  • Did you know that Edward Stratemeyer, the guy who wrote Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, didn't actually think a girl could be a detective? He just wrote the books because he knew it would appeal to girls and therefore create a bigger audience and more revenue.

  • @KwFliyProductions Actually Carolyn Keen wrote Nancy Drew

  • @Tashwampa That's a pseudonym for the multiple authors who have written Nancy Drew, including Edward Stratemeyer.

  • Whenever Emily mentions Jane she always adds "my guardian" after it!

  • I want to ply this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it look SO much fun! the nancy dree game i palyed

  • @CrystalStarlight95 OMG :) I know right...

  • HEHEHEHE!!! imma have to start saying tat now. make like a boy scout and be prepared

  • you make good videos.

  • MR. MINGLES SAYS HI!

  • Nancy Drew travels around the world (and possibly through time) helping people solve mysteries and uncovering sabotage using only her clever mind and sharp intuition?

Nancy Drew is a time lord.

  • omg i watch these vodeos all the time and i like them hes good at them even though he may have played juior version first but he has good memory to remember all of that crap!!!

  • wow cool secret of the old clock was the first book

  • Ha ha, keep up the good work,-are you-are you-are you doing this on purpose, marble game?

(Playing ND17 at the same time)

  • @crisamtha LOL!! ANUT HILLDA!

  • This game is one of my favs

its just so different from the others - I loved the vibe that I got from it

  • I love how this game is a mixture of 'The Mystery at the Lilac Inn' & 'The Bungalow Mystery', but with the title of 'The Secret of the Old Clock'. Three books rolled into one game (:

  • I have 11 games Michael and I use your walkthroughs on every one. I almost feel as if I know you personally!!! The walkthroughs are a massive help and very funny. By the way your dog that showed on Secret of Shadow Ranch is lovely too.

  • Jane voice is Mary Yazze's on Secret of Shadow Ranch!!!!

  • lol ah this is actually my second favorite of the Nancy Drew series

  • Bloomers?

  • hey michael thanks for doing these walkthroughs i could not get through my games without them. i have like 9 games and i was stuck on every 1 until i saw these walkthroughs. :D

  • Uhh i think that the oldman left the money in the Clock Dont You Think Too?

  • nine people click th wrong button. . . .

  • I love listening to this xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I listen just to here your comments xDDD

  • Jane sounds like Joan Cusack - John Cusack's red headed sister.. hmmm... is it?

  • i love how one of the choices after she said nancy was nice is you need to go out more...

  • Ok, so let me get this straight. In the books, Nancy is in the 1930's.

And in the PC games, Nancy is in the 21st century. But in this game, after there have been a lot of games before this, it is 1930. That's kinda strange to me anyway.........

  • BET UR BLOOMERS !? WHO WOULD WANT UR BLOOMERS!? CRREPY... and awkward o_o

  • I think that your videos are funny,helpful,interesting.....Who agrees?

  • @EvexxTheEmoGirl i agree! :D

  • @EvexxTheEmoGirl Totally agreed ;)

  • I love Jane's voice. :)

  • Thats accually REALLY ugly jewery

  • I know I've finished this game months ago, but... can we go into the kitchen before the fire?

  • @Cozypup nope which is too bad. It would be pretty cool.

  • @TheTeenSleuth

    Aww... :(

  • just a fun fact. helen corning was a girl nancy knew in high school it was in one of the nancy drew the hidden staircase :D

  • @gabbygirl131 yeah and Jim Archer was a young man who was marrying one of Nancy's friends. It's in Mystery of the Lilac Inn

  • @TheTeenSleuth and he is like not at all like he is in the books. but i still think they should incorporate more nancy drew book characters into the actual games

  • i got the combo pack of the old clock and the train and your sooo funny i love watching your gameplays :3

  • Its 1930 wow.

  • This Game looks cool

  • You. are. HILARIOUS

"What's going on? I can't see anything! Oh boy."

  • I just want Nancy to say 'Peace out Girl Scout' when you leave her! haha my cousin says that all the time and the bo scout thing. its just so darn funny

  • whats weird is that this story takes place in 1930 and take secrets can kill for example thats like 1998.

  • are you going to make a walkthrough for the shadow at the waters edge?

    btw i love your videos.

  • @secretscpfan1 he better! Im sure he will though, he's planning on making all Nancy Drew games there is. I mean, he's still alive you know!

  • XDDDDD Your so funny!

  • I am starting to think Nancy Drew can possibly time travel.

She's alive and young in the 1930's ....

but she can pass off as a senior in high school at Waverly where touchscreen cell phones are available (Which makes me guess it's somewhere past 2006-ish)

  • @liliprincess717 its not really in the past. it's just the intro.

  • @jacob77339 No it really is. This stroy was the first ever novel written and it was written in the older times and as the novels went on, it started to get more modern. The games didn't start with this story so I thought it was just odd that the time frame is jumping all over the place.

If you listen to Nancy talk on the phone in this game with her father she'll say the year and how she's never solved a mystery before

  • @liliprincess717

its that, or she does ALOT of cases in REALLY short times!!

  • @liliprincess717

It's just an anniversary game - 70 years from the first Nancy Drew book. The plots of the first four books are kind of mixed together in this.

But, I wish Nancy could time travel. Would be great to see her in the Swinging Sixties! :)

  • @liliprincess717 Let's face it Nancy's a Vampire she doesn't age -.-

  • @liliprincess717 Nancy Drew is a Time Lord. Why else can she time travel, and why else is she /always/ there when a mystery needs solving? I'm convinced.

  • @liliprincess717

NAW DUH SHE CAN! SHES NANCY DREW SHE CAN DO ANYTHING!

  • @LucarioDrew haha I know xD

  • "that puts her a the top of my suspect list!" you sound so sassy~;p

  • when i was younger i read the book to this and shadow ranch to me its so simaler

  • at 9:25, the picture of the man on the left is the man who originally wrote the Nancy Drew books

  • @sshaughnessy22 I thought that Nancy Drew was written by a girl o-o;

  • @LucarioDrew Caroline Keene was a pen name

  • @sshaughnessy22 I figured that out after looking it up on Wikipedia.

  • if you look on the wall at 9:24, the picture on the man on the landing to the left is the man who originally wrote the nancy drew books.

  • You should do junior instead of senior so you can get more Hardy Boys DUDE!

  • wat suspect list you dont even have one

  • Sob :( U sound so depressed. I like Happy funny michael better!!! and I might've spelled ur name wrong

  • Now lets go "IN" HAHA! See its the Lilac Inn- I'll shut- up now... YOU ARE HILARIOUS!!!

  • @hillsarealive4eva & Michael lik "Ok how do I bak away? Wait how do I bak away" & ND lik "It's too late" & Michael "Aww! Boo! I died cuz the game wouldnt let me bak away" XD

  • @NumOneJoeJonasLuver Wrong game XD

  • I love the 1930's i wish i was born back then :)

  • Nancy was prolly thinking. "O.o Narration...."

  • your video guides are the best

  • Whoa, there was a fire and Nancy missed the opportunity to say "Fire. Fire. Fire."

  • @hillsarealive4eva Haha! Are u referring to her saying that in Message In A Haunted Mansion?

  • @NumOneJoeJonasLuver Yes! Yes, I am. And the whole room burnt down xD

  • this is my FAVORITE game like everrrrr, idk why. maybe the mini-golf and ponies =D

  • No offense to any other Nancy Drew Video makers... but I have found that yours are absolutely the best. They're so helpful when I get stuck-- Especially on this one. Heh. Thanks for posting these-- I'm sure that loads of people have been saved by your mad skills for solving mysteries.

  • @JokerOnTheBrain i know and he makes it so much fun and he explains things

  • i played this and i only got to a certain part if u figure it out u r a genious

  • SHHHHHHHHHH WHATS WRONG?!?! nothing just thought i saw something... LOL ur like oookaaayyy

  • i didnt dont and always will not want your underwear besides im A GUY what would i do with your underwear

  • This is set in 1930?

  • @kikoblue908 yeah its based on the 1st book written by Edward Stratemeyer

if you go down the stairs & see the picture of a man with small glasses & a mustache,it's him

  • what program do you use to record

  • i love your walkthroughs! let's go IN to the INN lol! im gonna shut up now k?!

  • the road map is absolutely excrutiating!!!

i'm counting on your vids mike.

don't you let me down <3

  • hehe you sound lots different 2 years later!! lol

  • this is based on 2 games the lilac inn and secret of the old clock i hope the do one based of the spider saphire mystery it was my favorite book i loved it it was based in africa and such i want it to be one like that

  • 3:57

  • Have you ever thought of adding an introduction to your videos? Like you could show past nancy drew games.

  • if it was really 1930 then wouldn't Nancy be an old lady by now

  • @h193013 lol as i usually say for stuff like that, just go with it

  • what i dont get is that this is the only game that is in a different time period. and if this is in 1930 HOW OLD IS NANCY IN THE OTHER GAMES?!?

  • another question: shouldn't this have been the first game, not Secret Can Kill?

  • @Hina9111 She's always going to be 16-18 in the games. They only made this one set in 1930 because that was the year the first Nancy Drew book came out.

  • will this run on Windows 7?

  • @ealaird maybe. I also have Windows 7, but I have Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon (which is the same format as this game), and it doesn't work.

The newer ones do, though, like White Wolf and onward. As long as it says it's compatable with Vista on the back, then it should work (don't look at the HeR site to figure out which ones work, though. They all say they work on Vista, which they don't, because none of my older games work.)

  • i acually heard something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I loved Nancy"s car in this game! It was fun driving it and I never once got a flat tire but I did have to fill up once which wasn't too bad!

  • I've recently read the first books, Emily Willbourghy was in Mystery at Lilac Inn. Jim Archer is Helen's Fiancee' and Mr. Tompkins was with family in first book. The games made to be based on Secrets of the Old Clock with the same Nancy Drew, Interactive type people. It give a bit of 1930 version of the book. The one I wish Her interactive would do is Mystery of Lilac Inn. It's a really good book and very Mysterious.

  • Hahaha! Ahhh, the 30s and your corny slang....

  • emily has REALLLLY nice fingernails

  • Comment removed

  • I wish I never had car like that, turning like an airplane then you have to hit plant-holder to stop it.

  • This one is cool :) because it's based on Nancy's first book by Carolyn Keene. I've read it and they did a few new things, first Lilac Inn isn't until 3 or 4 book and Emily is at her house. I've wanted to play this game to see the difference from novel and game.

  • this is soooo not like the book......... just sayin, but i love the games!

  • Titusville is an actual town in Pennsylvania!

  • and Florida

  • why does Emily always sit on that chair thing on the window? shes like a ghost with that white dress on

  • That puts you at the top of my suspect list! LOL I LOVE YOU MICHEAL!

  • I want to get all the creepy Nancy Drew games! :3

  • yes it is...but as far as i know (i never played the game before) it has nothing to do with a "secret of the old clock" which is weird

  • @Sailormoongrl412

    yea is is

  • No, it's not, it's like the first few books in one

  • @candyapple031 lol yea
