Oh a tip for the next time you make one a these. Try making it more like a living thing. And if possible make it leave and enter as three parts of smoke and then in the middle being a huge one.

hey nice job, the problem with the sound is that he didn't record the sound himself he got it from Charlie + ekos encounter on the show, if you make it again like you said, the producers confirmed the sound of the smoke monster is from a ticket printing from a New York city taxi cab

Nice composition. as an audio engineer, hope you don't mind some constructive feedback: the amplitude (volume) of the noises the lost monster makes doesn't fade in/out randomly. every shot I've seen shows a consistent volume depending on how close it is. your video has the amplitude fluctuating when the monster's not moving. small thing, but... anyway, really nice vid man.

It's because it was composited in Adobe Premiere, which has very limited controls. I know Shake now and could easly improve apon this.
