  • You know, I have no idea. By far one of the greatest songs from the musical, and they skip it. I'd be interested to know why they didn't include it either.

  • I googled! It says that this song was only introduced into the musical when Toni Braxton joined the Broadway cast in 1998 (it was added only for her) and it's been included in the script ever since, and because of this, the song was never included on the Original Braodway Cast recording.

    BUT I guess the original Broadway Belle named Susan Egan recorded a version of the song and it's on her album "So far..."
