Nearly every assertion made here is inaccurate, and/or out of date. We haven't worked on oil shale continuously for 100 years, no one is asking for subsidies, the cost is likely to be less than the current oil prices. Technology exists; new technology has answered many (not all) questions. Without a clear & reasonable leasing pathway, research cannot be justified. Remarkable how certain people are of their erroneous assertions.
