This is probably my favorite Myst song, which is saying a lot since I love a lot of the Myst soundtracks. Actually... it's probably my favorite villain theme from ANY game... which includes One Winged Angel, though that one's kinda worn off its charm at this point anyhow.

I love the music from all Myst games, but Riven's my favorite soundtrack. It's very, very mysterious. This song in particular, for no reason I can identify, reminds me a lot of Frank Herbert's Dune novel.

The only way to get this song is through either losing or getting the "glitch" ending where you give Gehn the Trap Book (without trapping him) and then opening the Star Fissure.
