1. Iraqi democracy friendly to the US - CHECK

2. Iraqi security forces able to contain an insurgency - CHECK

Nasrallah knows as well as anyone that Israel withdrew from Lebanon without having achieved ANY of their political goals, while the US seems to have achieved all of theirs. How did the US lose?

@funkyboodah I wasn't trying to insult you, but you can't expect your comments to be taken seriously when you say that one of America's main goals for invading Iraq was to establish a democracy. And to also assert that the current democracy in Iraq is 'friendly' to the U.S. is another extremely inaccurate statement for any serious political observer of Iraq.

@TheKeysToEternity The goal of US neocon planners was to invade Iraq in order to establish a 'democratic bastion' in the middle east. After their plans proved to be utterly stupid, the US fought a very difficult counterinsurgency war and but finally helped stand-up a broadly representative Iraqi government that holds elections. This is called a democracy. US-Iraq ties, especially defence, continue to be strong, and Iraq continues to receive lots of US aid. This is called friendly relations.
